I have recently lost a stone which is great(have about 2 more to go though) BUT I keep on going out at the weekends and getting trashed and eating cheese
I am trying to stick to my points but I am pretty sure I gained this week and next week I will be pre-menstrual I think so that will add on a few more pounds

I know this has to be a long term project if it is to work but it is difficult at times. Hey ho.

Hiya

I don't go to WW but i do go to Scottish Slimmers. Lost 3st 2lbs between last November and this April for my wedding. Since April i have only managed to lose another 6lbs and have just under a stone to get to target.

I am exactly the same as you. I do fine through the week but weekends i totally fall down. Eat stuff i shouldn't and drink too much Don't know how to get my motivation back.

So not very helpful to you really just sympathy lol

yeah what is it about the weekends, i hope when i start working longer hours next week it will help me shift some weight i have 4 stone to lose but would be happy with 3

alycat · 18/09/2007 17:21

Hi, I go to WW too.

How was it today? I hope the cheese eating didn't do too much damage. I get weighed Tues too.

I have had lost 20 1/2lbs, but have lost my way (weigh ) in the last few weeks. Put on 1.5 this week, although lost 4.5 last week (D&V bug) So I think I am on around 16.5 lbs total weight loss, I have around another 2 stone to go also.

Let me know how you get on and shall we make an extra effort this week?

Ok I lost 1lb so all is not lost
Thanks for the support guys. I think you are right Tottie, very low point meals are the way to go. egg white ommlette with peppers onions and mushrooms has NO points!!And butternut curry has no points until you serve it with rice. And pasta with ratatouille has only points from pasta. I think that I will do this and really fill up on veggies so I can still drink wine. I will totally cut out the cheese though, there is no excuse for that

Well done!
I went today expecting to have put a lb or 2 on as I Having been sticking to points at but have been exercising lots I los 1lb and was chuffed!
Am having a chinese tonight and then back to sticking to points again.

Oh, sympathy Carmenere, but, hey, you lost a lb!! Fantastic. Think the cheese has to go and I know you're a big cheese fan, so they only way to go here is abstinence, so you leave pleny of room for wine at the weekends.

I find I have room to spend a few more points at the weekend if I havelow point meals all week and it'd be no fun if we couldn't have something a bit nicer at the weekends (not that low point meals aren't nice, but ykwim!

I'm not going to the meetings (too expensive), but am following the plan from last time and have lost 11lbs so far and am feeling a lot better about myself. Only another 3st to go!!! Well, I'll be happy to lose another two tbh as I find maintaining the 'ideal' weight difficult, but we'll see. You're doing great - keep at it girl. I won't recognise you at the Xmas do, assuming you're going (must look for the thread - had forgotten about it altogether).

thats brill weel done......

so we need low point meal suggestions?

quorn is very low and i love it, (i am not veggie) especially the frozen cheese and leak sausages, 71 cals each. and 2 is enough for me, me no point vegs
