What should I eat when I want crisps?

Or savoury snacks?

I'm cutting down on sugar, sweets and biscuits and snacks in general and find I'm craving less and less sugar.
However I sometimes find myself craving something savoury especially cheese and onion crisps and I'm having to really struggle when we do have some in to not eat them.

What good savoury snacking options are out there when I'm craving something like crisps?

Have some snack pots prepared for when you have the munchies. Fill them with carrots/peppers/cucumber batons for a savoury snack, and grapes/melon/strawberries for a sweet snack.

Try avocado w salt. I do that sometimes or just have nothing (I used to eat crisps w sandwich).

Thank you some good suggestions!

Unfortunately I can't stand raw vegetables so that's out of the window for me (I have tried).

I like the cut up cooked chicken breast suggestion I do find sometimes I want something a bit more substantial than a rice cake but don't want a full meal and also don't want to succumb to crisps and other processed stuff.

And hummus of course! It's my favourite but sometimes I go through stages of completely forgetting about its existence. Might try to make my own to go with some crackers perhaps.

Has anyone ever made their own crisps? We have an air fryer and I wonder if it's a good option.

Hard boiled egg with salt and pepper

Marmite rice cakes! They’re so good.

Aldi/Lidl own brand French fries are less than 70 cals a bag & are pretty satisfying. Good size one portion packs too.
Hummus etc is fine but a lot more calories.
Chicken breast instead of crisps???Confused

Pickles
Rice crackers with humus or a boiled egg
Carrots

Dried olives. Very salty. Very delicious. Quite difficult to find. I get mine from a middle eastern shop.

Also try slices of pickled beetroot or sour gherkins. Very flavourful, hits the spot.

Try baby carrot puffs! They really satisfy my crisp craving despite being salt free and super low calorie low fat

oh, and shavings or slivers of extra mature cheddar - the ones with crunchy bits are best. I like Marks and Spencer Cornish Cove.
