Signed up this morning with the aim of understanding what "normal" eating is and to get healthier all round.

I have 3st 2lbs to lost to get to where I'd like to be size wise but I know that'll come in time.

Looking for some MFP friends of anyone still uses it 🙂

@Evileyecherry some ice lollies are really low and are quite nice when you don't have many calories left. An options hot chocolate is about 40 cals which wouldn't be going over by too much. I make mine in a smaller mug with a bit less water to make it quite chocolately.

How is everyone doing?

My weight is coming off - but by God it feels slow. Since starting on May 4 I’m down from about 13st to 12st 1. However...my first weigh in was 12st 10 a few weeks in as just couldn’t bring myself to get on the scales.

I’ve stuck rigidly to MFP.

It’s hardest on the evening and I’ve still got at least a stone to go...

I never thought it would be this hard.

I’ve plateaued - lost nothing in Last 10days.. I’ve been using MFP for 3 months and lost 27lbs - yay - but I’m so frustrated this week.

I’m doing a HIIT every day plus 40mins walking/running & weights 3x a week. I’m eating 1000-1200 per day, which has been effective so far for me, at 1500 it didn’t shift..

I’m still overweight, need another 2 stone/28 lbs off to get to healthy weight.

How do I get over the plateau? Eat less? (Which would be a struggle!) Exercise more? Exercise less? (Am I doing too much??)

Help!

I have had this and utterly feel your pain. I go a week with nothing and then wham - a change.

I’d just stick with it and perhaps weigh yourself once a week. Easier said than done I know!

Urgh, I’ve eaten less today and done 30min HIIT and weights... I am praying the scales change tomos... (obvs I should wait a week but I know I’ll jump on as soon as I wake Grin)

Any recommendations for HITT and weights you tube workout? I walk for a hour most days, but I don’t think it is enough.

evileye that is inspiring! I am 13 stone and need to lost four stone. I have just started today. I always give up after a few days so need lots of encouragement!

I’ve been doing joe wicks for 13 weeks and yesterday did his 30mins Abs & Cardio session On YouTube. He’s got a lot tougher over the last 3 months, started easy but the last two weeks have been brutal. They are all on YouTube... Plus loads of older ones which are good.

Weights I just make up with 10lb kettlebells, 5 moves x20 reps on each arm, repeated x3.
