I'm feeling really down about it. I'm very low at the moment. As I'm sure many people are. And I always turn to food for comfort.
Iv put on almost a stone in the 5 weeks of lockdown. I'm self employed and my business has has to close so I'm feeling a bit lost. Any tips or hints for a quick fix?! I'm going to stop snacking (well try) and go low carb.
Best things to fill me up? I'm at my worst in the morning.
Thanks for reading

Following. I’m in exactly the same boat, feeling heavy and sluggish. Hate what I see in the mirror but can be bothered to do anything about it.
My business has also gone kaput due to covid and I’m stress eating!!

Sometimes skipping breakfast helps with appetite.. they call it intermittent fasting.. combining it with low carb apparently gives really good results.
Cheap low carb food: eggs, tinned fish in oil, full fat mayo, olives, cheese, chicken (thighs), frozen broccoli, green beans and cauliflower.diet doctor is a good website.

I don’t think any quick fixes but I find my fitness pal and my Fitbit work well. I can see how many I burn and I know I have to eat 500 cals less than I consume daily to loss weight. I’ve also started doing laps of the garden - jogging and walking. My own version of couch to 5k (or maybe 1 or 2k!).
