Hello
I have tried Slimming World in the past and can vouch its great and helped me lose lots of weight (before having DS).. now after 2 years of carrying the baby weight and yoyoing the same half a stone on and off again. I'm still stuck in the "SW way of thinking" and have tried instead opting for a healthier lifestyle and being more active (within my means of lockdown - it'll usually be an hour out with the pram whilst my DS naps)
Alongside struggling to just kick myself up the bum to realise how awful I feel, I keep having the SW mentality of knowing what is and isn't free food and syns, how many syns are in the likes of peanut butter and thinking I shouldn't be having anything other than wholemeal bread (to give an example) - I usually have a slice of super seeded with some peanut butter and a chopped banana and/or apple for breakfast (since having my DS I cant usually stomach just fruit on a morning)
How do "get out" of the SW thinking and trust your diet of eating healthier and moving more will give you the results you want?
I have no real goal for weight loss I would just like to feel healthier and stop relying on convenience junk/chocolate bars and coffee to get me through the day!
I do hope this all makes sense - apologies for any typos and the length of it!!
All advice welcome xx
