WW or Calorie Counting

I joined WW just after Christmas with 2 and a half stone to lose. I have since lost 1 stone 4 lbs but i'm getting fed up with the point system as it seems a bit mad- for example I got a tin of tomato and bean soup that's only 230 calories but 6 points ! Today I had cereal for breakfast (shreddies) and am having chicken with sweet chilli marinade, brown rice and veg for dinner and that soup for lunch. This equates to 1100 calories but on WW is 37 points (i'm only allowed 30 a day) I'm just thinking that calorie counting will be more sustainable in the long term also.

Has anyone lost a lot of weight on either ?
