I'm so sick of lying to myself and multiple deadlines coming and going so I'm starting a thread to keep on track. I've a lot to lose and this time I'm not putting a time limit or a target loss. I'm not concentrating on the end goal I'm concentrating on each day of each week as it comes and how it better be a damn minus figure on the scales.

Feel free to join me but I'm going to be a meany if you have a rubbish excuse for falling off the wagon...

Going to weigh in the morning naked and after a number 2 and take a picture of the scales for the before and after photos.

So I weighed myself this morning and downloaded mfp.

I also ordered a Fitbit and currently making a food plan for the week so I don't end up pigging out.

I'm the heaviest I've ever been and feel like so many things in my life are linked to me being overweight and unfit.

I'm feeling determined though. They say life's too short to worry about cake but a few months going without is more than worth it when life will be improved for it.

Hi chins love the username. If you want company you are v welcome to join the Spring shedding thread - we've been going since New Year but it's very friendly and we are keeping each other on track.

This week has been so tough as both dc down with the lurgy. Dd was stuck to me so I haven't had time to post.

I feel like I've done really well though, hit over 10k steps 3 out of 4 last days. And I've been under calories too wooo! Let's hope the scales are nice tomorrow Grin

I am a cheat, I’m vaguely good in the week then I go mad from wed/thurs and at the we I eat secretly. It has to stop tomorrow as it’s not healthy!

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 08/03/2020 19:39

Hi chins, I'll join. Just started today. I weighed myself yesterday and I'm 197lbs (I've deliberately not worked it out in stones- please none tell me!) previously 180 was my highest, oh no! weight.
I did just under 1500 calories today low carb and 1200 steps. From experience day 3 is where I usually mess up. How are you doing?

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 08/03/2020 19:40

12000 steps I mean!

ChinsMcDonut · 08/03/2020 20:25

Iggle that's only a few lb off my starting weight so I wouldn't worry, day 3 day shmee you can do it, imagine it's day one again!

super I've been a secret binge eater too, I realised today when I went to the range and walking round all I could think about was how to buy the box of broken biscuits without dh seeing so I could scoff them when he's at work..then I remembered that's not normal and gave myself a shake.

I had vegetable soup for dinner whilst dh and ds had a huge sausage and onion baguette that smelt incredible so I'm feeling proud this evening.

Do any of you have any targets? Date/scale/clothes wise?

Well done chins! That's great!

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 09/03/2020 07:46

My house has been taken down with a tummy bug so I'm off with the kids today, but I'll aim to stick with my food plan. Probably won't get as many steps in though.

ChinsMcDonut · 10/03/2020 07:58

How did you get on yday? I was slightly over cals but managed 14k steps so still happy with that.

I even turned down a free Chinese takeaway and had a cup of tea instead!

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 10/03/2020 10:04

I managed under 1400 Cal's and stuck mostly to plan. Rubbish on steps though, only about 3500, but I was feeling ill. Well done for avoiding the take out! I'm doing good today so far too. Porridge and fruit and nuts for breakfast and it was actually nice Smile.

fishonabicycle · 10/03/2020 15:09

Don't get disheartened if you don't lose every week. Weight loss isn't linear, and is affected by factors other than fat loss or gain.

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 10/03/2020 19:06

So, traditional day three fail hasn't happened (knock on wood). I'm under the calories that mfp says I should have (1600) and did more than 13000 steps. How did you go, fish & chins?

ChinsMcDonut · 16/03/2020 11:16

Weighed in this morning and gained a lb!!! Slightly annoying but haven't eaten naughty so not too worried.

Thinking of trying another week of calorie counting and maybe switching to slimming world because I'm not liking being hungry all the time!

Hi chins, oh that's so annoying! Perhaps it's hormonal. I'm going good. On track every day but one so far
