Anyone got about half a stone to lose?

Just that really.

I am a lucky enough to be a healthy BMI (upper end of the range) but a persistent additional 0.5 stone has crept on over the last year or so. I have a chronic illness so need to be careful with my nutrition. My plan is to focus on eating 'real', minimally processed foods where possible. My meals tend to be healthy but I have a terrible sweet tooth and hoover up sweet treats at work and in the evenings. This is where I need to focus as when I start I find it hard to stop.

I've seen the 'Brain over Binge' podcast recommended here so will give that a go. I will also make sure I meal plan and have healthy lunches ready to bring to work.

I'd love if anyone would join me but in any case I'll weigh in tomorrow morning and then check in weekly. I work well when I have to accountable :-)

Well I checked in here on the 21/2 and done sweet FA after that. Story of my life 🙄

So I'm back again if you'll have me! Haven't been too bad over the weekend, have had shredded wheat with a chopped banana for breakfast and brought a ham salad for lunch so I'm trying 💪🏻

Nows a good time to try and cut down on calories as my activity has gradually increased at both work and home and will continue like that for the next few weeks so now seems a good time to try and get some lbs off.

Me too please. I'm only 4'11 but weigh 8.7 and feel so fed up with this spare tyre!

I only want to get to 8 st and keep it off. I can lose a few pounds, feel proud of myself, pig out on cake and cheese, and put it back again.

Lost 4 lb, but it's gone back on and back to starting weight. Really fed up with myself.

My only way to lose weight is eat tiny amounts and not to snack.

Breakfast needs to be small bowl of porridge, lunch slice of toast with cheese, dinner grilled chicken escalope. A yoghurt.

Nothing else and I will lose weight. Couple of biscuits and it stays on.

Is there any way to diet? I hate salads. Lean meat and steamed veg and the weight stays on. I can only eat this type of meal once the weight is off.

I exercise twice a week and am fairly active the rest of the time (school runs etc). I know from experience exercise makes little difference.

Checking in. 10.5 lbs lost.

I did weigh last Thursday but to be honest weight loss seemed insignificant. I'm in ROI so Thursday morning was when the school closures and social distancing measures were introduced :-(
I have lost another 1lb - slow and steady but that's ok

I have invested in a Fitbit and its interesting to see how sedentary my job is - I am MUCH more active on my days at home.
