Evening everyone.
Been having a few days off screen.
Have been reading up on devices for dd for her epilepsy and seeing if there is anything else I can do to ensure it doesn't happen again, which is stupid really because it's so unpredictable.
Unfortunately all the devices that are available seem to come from the US, and they are all for patients that convulse, so they won't actually help.
The consultant and nurse think that the seizure could be linked to hormones, and if it happens again to let them know, but we don't have to call an ambulance unless I'm very concerned. If the different seizures become more regular then there is another medication they can give.
At present I'm keeping a diary of anything unusual, plus what she eats, drinks and how much sleep she gets to see if there is any sort of pattern.
Thank you all again.
As for me and the food, well I took your advice and made some snacks north and life, I chopped loads of fruit and veg and the fresh berries and pineapple really helped when I was feeling very tired. I also got a few vegan ready meals, which were ok. I was cooking decent things for the dcs, just not for me.
Anyway it is half term, so my aim is to do some batch cooking so that I can just pull out stuff from the freezer for dinners.
My steps have been ok, over 10,000 each day, just not today or tomorrow, it's way too windy and rainy to venture out.
My weight has settled again at 12s, after a few days of fluctuations.
I've also got myself a health journal from paperchase, which has the slogan, 'Be your healthiest you!' So chiché, I know! But it has parts on goals, water intake, steps each day and a food diary. I've already done my goals, I will start Monday.
I think it will help me, I think writing things down makes me more accountable.
Not put a line under it.
Happier, well done on getting into the 150's.
life glad you had a nice time with your friends and also glad you are safe from the storm.
