Yeah I know happier, the problem was it was around 3,000 over - this is 600lb life category eating. No surprise I feel so shit today. It’s behind me but today hasn’t been great, I’ve around 400 left & dinner out to go. It’s going to be tomorrow before I can get back on track.
Weather is hideous here, very glad I got out for my walk before it started. Might need an Ark to get to friend house😂

Three courses and cocktails today. Mmmmm.
Will not be great the rest of the night. Most likely get steps.

Put it behind you not. You had a good time with the DC. Today is recovering. Sunday start day. One day is ok.

Great news happier that it's livable with.

Dennis is here, stay safe lovelies

Happierwithouthim · 15/02/2020 19:24

Home from a walk with dc & ddog, ended up carrying dd for some of it, she's nearly 10, Fitbit started buzzing I thought it was the pressure my heart was under but it was 10,000 steps Grin

Feel like I didn't get much done today Sad

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 15/02/2020 19:35

Evening everyone.
Been having a few days off screen.
Have been reading up on devices for dd for her epilepsy and seeing if there is anything else I can do to ensure it doesn't happen again, which is stupid really because it's so unpredictable.
Unfortunately all the devices that are available seem to come from the US, and they are all for patients that convulse, so they won't actually help.

The consultant and nurse think that the seizure could be linked to hormones, and if it happens again to let them know, but we don't have to call an ambulance unless I'm very concerned. If the different seizures become more regular then there is another medication they can give.
At present I'm keeping a diary of anything unusual, plus what she eats, drinks and how much sleep she gets to see if there is any sort of pattern.
Thank you all again.

As for me and the food, well I took your advice and made some snacks north and life, I chopped loads of fruit and veg and the fresh berries and pineapple really helped when I was feeling very tired. I also got a few vegan ready meals, which were ok. I was cooking decent things for the dcs, just not for me.
Anyway it is half term, so my aim is to do some batch cooking so that I can just pull out stuff from the freezer for dinners.

My steps have been ok, over 10,000 each day, just not today or tomorrow, it's way too windy and rainy to venture out.
My weight has settled again at 12s, after a few days of fluctuations.

I've also got myself a health journal from paperchase, which has the slogan, 'Be your healthiest you!' So chiché, I know! But it has parts on goals, water intake, steps each day and a food diary. I've already done my goals, I will start Monday.
I think it will help me, I think writing things down makes me more accountable.

Not put a line under it.
Happier, well done on getting into the 150's.
life glad you had a nice time with your friends and also glad you are safe from the storm.

lifelongfrugaleer · 15/02/2020 20:52

Control the controllable my sister always says

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 16/02/2020 09:39

Thanks Happier. I like your sisters saying!

Weight sts.

Hope no-one got hit by the storm.

B was coffee and crumpets with butter.
Not sure what lunch will be, but dinner will be a roast.

Going to clean the fridge today and use up any tired looking veg in a soup, ready for going shopping tomorrow. I miss going real life shopping, so I'm a bit excited, sad I know!

Happierwithouthim · 16/02/2020 09:40

Food shopping curvy?

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 16/02/2020 09:44

Yes happier!

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 16/02/2020 09:47

I mean I pop to the sainsbury's local round the corner for milk and bread, but it's been quite a while since I've done a full proper shop.

Happierwithouthim · 16/02/2020 11:14

I love the feeling when it's complete that I've got so many options at my disposal

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 16/02/2020 11:33

Oh yes definitely!
I need to fall back in love with cooking.
Just watched Living on the Veg on ITV and it has inspired me to get cooking.
Just hope the weather is better tomorrow!

Happierwithouthim · 16/02/2020 12:32

Won't let me screen shot either. I've gone for good housekeeping too but it feels a bit old for me so far.

Couldn't weight today as bathroom in use. By the time I did I'd had a cuppa down on yesterday but still up as in part human part chocolate.

Steps always a nightmare in holidays but dragging DS to gym tonight

Happierwithouthim · 17/02/2020 07:46

I was very surprised that I could screenshot
I downloaded good housekeeping too but haven't looked at it yet.

Happierwithouthim · 17/02/2020 07:59

Speaking of food mags, I just got email from my car insurers due to leap year they're giving a free copy of Easy Food magazine delivered, delighted, I love that magazine Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 17/02/2020 08:18

I subscribe to easy cook. Always find loads to make. I like a physical recipe still too.

Happierwithouthim · 17/02/2020 08:48

That's on the app too, will check it out.

I don't really use recipes in past 12 months or so just make stuff I like and freeze/keep extra portions in fridge for myself, when cooking for one I just can't be bothered but I love cooking so I must get out of this rut.

My spatula has fallen apart after years of use, I have tried gluing it but not had success, lidl have some coming in though so I'll get some lovely colourful silicone stuff there.

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 17/02/2020 10:56

Morning.
Weight sts.

I've downloaded the RBdigital app too.
It seems to be working ok, lots of recipes I can make for the kids and adapt for me, so win win!
