I'm so excited i almost squealed ha ha but didn't want to wake anyone up in the house.

So for the last ten years I've weighed 16 stone after being diagnosed with PCOS. I'll be honest i haven't really done much in trying to lose weight over the years. However, since last October (after a car accident) others have noticed I've been losing weight, they've commented my face looks slimmer etc and i stepped on the scales last month to find i was 1lb 6oz away from a one stone weight loss.

My aim is to get back to my pre-diagnosed PCOS weight of 9 & half or 10 stone by this time next year.

I look forward to being able to buy clothes that look good on me once again and no longer struggling to find an outfit when going out.

Also my leg pain has reduced which is a bonus but still there. Its a long road ahead but this is the push i needed i think. I plan to start going to the gym from next week once it opens (Its a new gym) but I'm current walking 20mins a day (its all i can manage with my legs and back pain right now but its a start)

That's brilliant! You must be so pleased. What are you doing to lose the weight?

Thank you blackistheneworange its only since last month I've reduced my calories and that was just due to not really being hungry but i think what's really helped is I'm active now because i walk or take public transport everywhere now instead of driving as my car was a write off.

Also I've cut down on junk food because i can't just drive to McDonalds drive thru anymore ha ha. As of this month i decided to stop eating meat (was never really a big fan to be honest and only ate chicken & fish sometimes) and no eating after 8pm too but its actually been more like 6pm. I'm also sleeping better now too, no more waking up in the night. Will be starting at the gym soon though.

I have a concert to attend next month so I'm hoping I'll lose some weight and can buy something nice to wear..
