Anyone else need to get back on track after Christmas?

I had very slowly and steadily lost 1 and a half stone last year over 8 months. It really felt like a change for life as I hadn't drastically changed, just cut right back on snacking, less takeaways, got rid of my sugar addiction. It was always the sugary snacks on top of my meals that led to weight gain.

I just had another half a stone to lose to be where I want to be and a bmi of 21.

Christmas has really thrown me off track as expected. I knew I was going to just eat what I wanted as didn't want to feel deprived over Xmas, and hadn't done too badly, but in the last few days I've put on 3lbs! Going back to old ways with biscuits for breakfast and takeaways mid week.

Need to get back on track now quickly before I slip right back into my old habits. I feel as though I'm addicted to sugar again now. It's going to be hard with January being such a dreary month.

Anyone else? What are you doing to get back on track?

Yep I hear you! I got over 3 stone off last year on SW, and have put on nearly 1/2 a stone in the fortnight over christmas and NY. Weigh in is tomorrow (i missed last week so last weigh in was Friday before christmas) so ill be starting again then.

Apart from xmas day, all the meals I have had have been slimming world friendly (no or very low syns) and the weight gain has come from the sweets and other crap around the meals, so hopefully the weight loss will be relatively quick.

I want to get back to the 3 stone target, as my clothes are getting tight and i have another 2 stone to go after that!

Good luck!! 😁
