At a loss!

I've put on so much weight recently and although I don't look heavier I feel unhappy in my own skin at the moment.

I go to the gym a minimum of twice a week for group PT sessions and I'm trying to get there a third time but life isn't always helpful to that. I'm trying to eat less but the festive time of year isn't helping either. I also have under control graves disease so my metabolism is so slow after being on the meds.

Does anyone have any tips or ideas on how I can lose a 14-20lbs without starving myself??

Hi! I'm trying loose some weight before Christmas too! It's hard because I work long hours and physically don't have the time to go to the gym as I need to be in bed early and when I did join a gym it was unsustainable as I was just exhausted all the time. I'm quite active with my job which helps me get plenty of steps in each day though. I'm doing 800 cals a day with slimfast to try and kickstart the weight loss before Christmas then I will gradually move into upping the calories slightly and eating normal meals to try and reprogram my brain not to think about food 24/7! I would like to loose between 1-2 stone I think!

I did think about slim fast but I think I would like to try and stay on real food. I did think about trying intermittent fasting but its not recommended if TTC which I am. Its such a minefield isnt it!
