I am 11 stone and want to lose a stone asap (hopefully 6 weeks). I plan on doing the following:-

exercise on x trainer / bike ride for 30 mins 3-4 times a week.

only drink wine at weekends (and then only one glass a night)

eat healthily, cut down on bread, pasta, potatoes etc and eat more fruit and veg - basically just eat properly without following any faddy diet

I only drink water anyway - so 8 glasses a day
Do you think this will work and how long to lose a stone?
