Has anyone tried the Noom app?

I lost 2 stone with SW in 2016 (target), have gained about 7lbs....not the end of the world but all the clothes I bought at lowest weight are now a squeeze.

I love SW meals but when I broke up with partner earlier this year I'm doing so much emotional eating and bingeing on cereal in the evening.

I like the sound of Noom as it's psychotherapy based and looks at changing habits. It's quite expensive has anyone tried it?

I did GoSober in October but haven't really had more than the odd drink since mid Sept...I have eaten more to compensate and therefore haven't lost weight!

Exercise has become more tricky due to health issues but am persevering with walking and yoga.

Noom is absolutely fantastic, it has completely changed my life and the way I eat and think about food. I no longer binge eat or choose unhealthy food. I've lost 52lbs since March and my hair and skin also look great.

You can do a free two week trial to see if you like it, but make sure you follow it religiously. Then after 13 days, email and say you want to cancel and they will offer you cheaper options. I think I paid £79 for the year. I have two friends who are paying £19 a month. There are discount codes online too. Also join the Unofficial Noom FB group.

Actually I just noticed that you only have 7lbs to lose - the core Noom program for creating new habits lasts for 4 months so probably too long for you. You could probably just do the free trial and switch over to the free app.

Thanks so
Much @Gemma2019 so yes I will absolutely do the trial...that's great to hear! I just think I find it really hard to not snack on cereal, and having lost weight I really want to keep it off. Having cut out alcohol seems to have had the opposite effect, and I'm really hoping to educate my brain better.

Good luck with you too, that's amazing!
