My doctor has gently told me to lose weight. She is right. I have 4.5 stone to lose. It seems so vast she may well have said 14.5 stone.
There are so many options spinning round I don't know where to begin.
No sugar
Low carbs
Calorie count

SW , WW?
I can't afford slimming clubs at the moment, I work shifts but I have quite a bit of downtime.
I used to love exercise but lost my way with that.

I am now morbidly obese ( hell !!!!)
Did anyone else feel as lost when they started their weight loss journey. If so could you give me some tips.
I feel mentally ready to make a start.
( By the way I'm a veggie, just putting that in if anyone suggests any diet advice)

I am a very impatient person and if there wasn't immediate results
That is exactly how I feel.
I have made my own food for work and i have found once I start saying ' no thanks' to chocolate bars it gets easier to keep saying no!
I think my meals are pretty low carb for the weekend. I've made a mushroom stew to take in tonight. I have a creamy tofu sauce for tomorrow ( I would normally have it with rice and nan but will skip that) and I'm making braised green with halloumi for Sunday.

Yes it's very difficult when you're surrounded by stuff. Just try eating ONLY WHEN YOU"RE HUNGRY , it doesn't matter what you eat so much .Just get into the habit of knowing your body. Eating slowly too (not throwing it down your neck when you're standing up Grin )

I lost 3 stone doing it, helped by Paul Mackenna's I Can Make You Thin (btw I hate that title I just like being slim NOT thin !!!!!) I still maintain with it. I do eat healthily though. I take a snack pack of chewy food and fruit to work or when out and drink plenty of water, not so much tea or coffee. Though green tea is ok.

June is a great amount of time to get really good results.
When someone is dieting smartly, they should be losing 0.3-0.8kg a week. Depending on how much someone is aiming to lose, they could achieve up to 20kg of weight loss by June ☺️

Yes it's good to have something to aim for !!
