When you make sandwiches

Don't have a microwave at college so need to take cold stuff in. If you was to make sandwiches for lunch how many would you make? Wanna be skinny me knows I should make one. But I'd be soo hungry just off that. Will take some fruit and neck coffee as well.

I'm slimming at the moment so I have a Warburtons sandwich thin, a filling of tuna light mayo and sweet corn, then a piece of fruit and a packet of French Fries crisps.

I push myself to eat lunch as late as possible so the hunger doesn't return until I get home.

Other cold options would be a pasta salad, cold couscous with some flakes of salmon and veg, chickpea salad with lots of chopped salad veg and some tuna.

Could you take soup in a flask?eff. I did SW I made syn-free veg soup and had it with Babybels for lunch.

But if I was making sandwhiches i’d make 1 ie: 2 slices of bread.

I'm not a big soup fan. It's really annoying id normally portion off dinner and reheat next day. Had tuna in pitas all last week and fed up of the sight. Making pastrami gherkin and cheese sandwiches this week

I would make two sandwiches (as long as the bread wasn’t massive doorstop type slices).
I don’t think that’s a bad lunch to have at all - do you snack much at work as that can often be people’s downfall when trying to lose weight

I sometimes make a batch of these at the weekend and freeze. I just get a couple out each day and they really fill me up realfood.tesco.com/recipes/green-frittata-muffins.html
Other times I’ll make a salad full of protein and fibre.
I found that when I improved my breakfasts, I was a lot less hungry at lunch time. I also try to eat breakfast later, sometimes when I’m at work.
Another tip I learnt was to have a big glass of water before lunch so I’m not so hungry.

My tip is to take the bread and filling in separately and make the sandwich up when you need it - stops it going soggy. This also gives the option of using crisp bread or Ryvita instead.
