I am spiralling out of control. I cannot stop eating and am now feel I have one big problem. I am not severly overweight just need to lose about 2-3 stones, but have no willpower to do so! Has anyone tried hypnosis? Does it work? Success stories please.

My dad has. He's obese. He did have real success with it to begin with but it all came piling back on again . He's actually had most success with altering his will power and outlook to food by seeing an accupunturist! And my dad is really quite conservative but he's having the most success with weight-loss he's ever had. Thinking of trying it myself as I've inherited a) the propensity to be big b) the lack of willpower and c) his love of food! Good luck!

I had a course of 3 sessions, but it really didn't do any good. I'm quite suggestible and can "go under" so it wasn't that, it's just that I don't seem to equate what I hear under hypnosis with what I do afterwards! I think you'd be as well to buy one of the CDs or tapes with hypnosis, as it's basically the same thing, but very much cheaper!
