Please inspire me - who has lost a lot of weight successfully?

I'm looking for inspiration and ideas. I've spent my 20s and 30s with a borderline healthy / overweight BMI but in the last 3 years (which have been tough ones emotionally) have put on enough weight that I am now obese.
I've tried most diets, but give up after a few days.
I need to lose 4 stone to get down to a healthy weight.

If you have lost a lot of weight and maintained a healthy weight, how on earth have you done it?

By following a low carb diet and consistent daily exercise.Lost 3 stone.Maintained, but this can be hard work,as I can get tired and socializing can be limited .I don't get hungry though and don't get cravings.Good luck.

I went to WeightWatchers. I still do.

I lost just over six stones. My before and afters (shared many times before) are attached Blush

I lost three and a half stone by using myfitnesspal over about 10 months and going from a size 14 to a size 8. I also increased my running from c25k and did my third half marathon on Sunday, its been hard work but have reversed my type 2 diabetes and happy with my weight now.

watching with interest. I used to maintain at the top end of healthy BMI using low carbing when I gained, but in the past year or so I've just said 'oh fuck it' and can't seem to get back in to it.

I am coming to see it is my only option if I am to not stay fat though.
Well done to all those who've cracked it.
