I know I know 😬 not ideal, however I am jumping in to try and kickstart my weight loss and motivate myself as I have a big event to look forward to in November.
I need to lose about 15 kg but am aiming for around 10 kg by the end of November.
Will plan on having one shake at lunch then a healthy dinner.
Anyone care to join and share motivation 🙌🏻 Encourage one another

Hello, good luck! I'm on the slimfast and fast 800, so I have 4 slimfasts a day and nothing else, or I swap one or two for some actual food. I started with 4st to lose and I've lost 1st 4 lb in about 6 weeks or so.

@ISmellbabies well done that’s fantastic did you find it hard just having the shakes also which are your favourite flavours? Are you continuing on slim fast until you have lost the weight?

The first week was hard getting used to it but after that it's been really easy because you can't go wrong. I love the cafe latte one. I probably will stay on it until I've lost it all because it's just so convenient. Fucking expensive though as I'm using the ready made ones. Might have to switch to powder and milk soon.

Oh god I was planning on using the powder shakes and then using the ready made shakes when out and about.i had a look and they have the powder tins in Tesco for £5 so might be worth trying them. Have you been doing any exercise alongside it?

Not too much exercise but I've been trying to do little and often, upping my step count

Wanderlustnearorfar · 01/09/2019 16:12

Me too I have a Fitbit so I’m planning on trying to reach 10,000 steps daily and over if possible. I’m quite looking forward to starting, it’s keeping the motivation going that I struggle with.
Have you dropped a dress size if you don’t mind me asking?

Yes I think so. My size 16 jeans were a struggle to do up when I started, but this morning they'd fallen half way down my arse by the time I'd got to the bottom of the stairs!

Flowers well done!! That’s good motivation fingers crossed for me. Do you find the shakes fill you up?
I have a dreaded exercise bike at home might try to make myself jump on it a couple of times a week!!

They do the job, it's not full up like stuffing your face full of chips, haha, but it's full up as in not hungry anymore. And that lasts until it's time for the next one, so yeah it's fine. Good luck, you'll be there in no time!
