Weight loss stall for 9 months! 😭

I have lost 2 stone over the last 2 years or so (from around 13 stone to 11 stone).

But I’ve been stuck at the 11 stone mark for about 9 months now! 😓 As happy as I am to have maintained the loss, I desperately want to lose the last stone to get to pre DC weight. Just under 10 stone is my goal weight.

I haven’t followed a particular plan for the weight I’ve lost so far - just eating less, choosing healthier options and generally having a active lifestyle. I feel like I need a particular plan to stick to, as my body seems to like being 11 stone!

If you have stalled with weight loss, I’d love to hear how you broke through and lost the last bit of weight to reach your goal. I’m a bit overwhelmed with how many diet plans are available.

Also have a holiday booked for the end of September, so have something to work towards too!

Pretty much in the same boat summer! I'm doing exactly what I was doing ( lots of fruit and veg low fat and not much bread and more exercise)
and on this regime I lost 3 stone going from 17 to 14 st but still such a way to go and stuck now for about 6 months - I'm pleased to have maintained the loss but just hovering now . I'm not sure what to do and whether to start some sort of plan to kick start it but as I'm eating healthily I'm not sure what to try . I definitely know I would not be successful with fasting which is the other option.Frustrating!

Are you in a calorie deficit still? As you get smaller your body needs less fuel, so eventually you will stall and need to adjust your calories down a bit if you want to continue losing. There's endless online tools to help you work out calories, total daily calorie expenditure (TDEE), basal metabolic rate (BMR - which is the amount you use up just staying alive before you even move) etc - MyFitnessPal is a good one.
