I struggle to eat enough calories, I am just never THAT hungry. I am a 33 year old M, 5"7, I weigh 9st 6. My BMI suggests I am not underweight but I would like to put on a bit of weight to feel better about myself.

Problem is, I can't stomach breakfast and I usually eat a fairly light lunch. Dinner is fine, I tend to eat a big meal.

I've looked at protein powders, bulking powder etc but not sure where to start, and a lot of the reviews say they taste disgusting.

I'm eating arounf 1200cals, where I need to be eating more like 1700, so I could do with something to boost it.

Any advice welcome.
Thanks!

Maybe try snacking on fruit and veg? Or something like a celery stick with some peanut butter on it?

Healthy fats like avocados, nuts etc are all very good for you and relatively high calorie, so maybe try, for example, eating a handful of nuts with your lunch?

Do you like smoothies? You could experiment with some to see what you enjoy, and have one of those - an easy way to get some calories in without feeling like you’re eating loads.

How is your diet generally? It’s low calorie but are you managing to get enough nutrition from it? As well as making sure you get your 5 a day, do some reading on macros etc so you can see what other nutrients you may be missing.

Another way of doing it would be building some muscle - how much exercise do you do in a week? Lifting weights would build muscle and give you some additional bulk.
