16 weeks, 4 stone, can it be done?? And how?

Hi Everyone

I have been messing around for ages, losing and gaining the same weight and then giving up. I am desperate to lose weight and I have just found out that in 16 weeks I will need to attend a party (can't get out of it as it is for a close family member). There will be someone there that I used to be in a relationship with and I really really want to feel better about myself. I have about 4 stone to lose to get to where I would be comfortable - is that possible in that time? Has anyone lost a similar amount? How did you do it?

I would love to hear any tips, advice and experiences - I really want to do this!

xx

That would be an extreme amount if weight loss- would it be sustainable?
Maybe start with some healthier habits that you can live with forever? A bit more exercise, more healthy eating....?

3.5 pounds every week for 16 weeks?.
Not sure but you can start now and you will lose some significant weight by then.

Try the 800 diet by Dr Moseley for a quick motivating loss.
But three stone is definitely doable if you are committed. Four would require iron will!

I don’t think it can be done to be honest, or at least not in a way that’s healthy and sustainable.

But, even if you don’t hit that goal, if you start losing weight now, you’re likely to feel and look a lot better in 16 weeks time than you do now. So, it’s definitely worth making a start.

Slim and save!

Thank you for all the responses. Obviously if I could lose 3 stone that would be great but would love to get below that to where I am happiest.

Funnily enough I bought the Fast800 book last week but have not yet had chance to read it due to a manic week - I'm a bit worried it will be difficult as I am vegetarian but will give it a read.

Re. slim and save - I have briefly tried Exante before but the shakes made me feel so sick I couldn't drink them - is slim and save similar?

Exante works by you eating a low calorie diet, so you could mimic that with food.

I'm doing Exante but I'm 'cheating' by adding in some food within the calories and using appetite suppressants from Bodyline.
