I've been thinking about this long and hard and decided now may be the right time to resign. I'm going on holiday at the start of next month (for two weeks) and was going to ask someone to take the spreadsheet on for the two weeks however after much soul searching I think it may be time for me to bow out. I am still watching my weight and still trying to lose another few pounds but feel I may be the wrong person to be running the spreadsheet and want to hand over to someone who can give things a fresh edge and enthusiasm.

It only takes a few minutes a week and it's really lovely being able to talk to you all on e-mail (I'm getting all emotional now). If you think it may be for you please either post here or mail me on the mn.mamas address.

Re-read that and it sounds like I am giving up the 'diet' but that's not the case, whoever takes over will get me mailing every week for a while yet!

It wont be the same without you

Demented · 17/09/2004 18:39

I'll stil be here, you can't get rid of me that easily. I just think others might have more enthusiasm/better ideas IMO the weekly threads have fallen a bit flat lately and if I was doing my job properly I would be keeping a better eye on it and keeping them going a bit better. I've always been promising to search on the net for diet/exercise pearls of wisdom and haven't done it yet, perhaps it's time to pass on the baton.

Thanks for doing it for so long, Demented. I know I've kind of slacked off the last month but I did find it very helpful and motivating to have to be honest to someone! I'm sure the club has helped me to maintain my weight loss even if I haven't lost much recently.

Demented · 17/09/2004 20:53

Thanks Allegra, I certainly don't want to see it go because it has been a huge help to me too and I'm still going to need the help for some time to come.

I thought you were very motivational - I'm sorry you're resigning but thanks for all your help - I couldn't have lost any weight without you (sob! soppy violin music)

So far I've got no takers so you might be stuck with me!

The problem is what to do when I am on holiday and then what to do about my failing enthusiasm and motivation longterm just can't help but think that it needs someone new, someone fresh IYKWIM.

Hi Yorkiegirl, yes it's Excel, very easy and I would be here to help!

Mail me on the mn.mamas address and we could talk about it more.
