What am I doing wrong?

I've got quite a bit of weight to lose, and do have a medical condition which can make it slightly harder (but not impossible) to lose weight. I am doing something along the lines of the Cambridge diet, where I am using meal replacement shakes 2 x per day and having one healthy low calorie meal during the evening. If I really need a snack I will have a banana or some other fruit

I have cut out all bread/pasta/potato as well as all snacks, crisps, fizzy drinks etc. I drink 2L of water a day (just water, no squash added) and I have made an effort to get moving more. I have an office job so find it hard to do my 10k steps but I am getting there. Have been following this strictly and logging everything in an app so it has been calculating my macros and nutrients and I am getting enough of the right stuff. This is my 3rd week and today I decided to weigh and I've only lost 2lbs since starting! I was hoping it would come off really quickly as I have drastically changed my eating habits but it's just not budging Blush

Sounds like your taking all the right steps already. The only thing I would say is shakes never ever worked for me. I just recently lost the two extra stone I'd put on which I wanted to lose to feel back to my normal self and more confident.

I cut out all the things you already have. Although I still have diet or zero fizzy drinks. I was also having one takeaway a week as a treat.

I do meal prep on a Sunday for the week, these do me either lunch or dinner each day of the week. Can consist of chicken and rice with veg, or steak n veg, or salmon n veg, sometimes I put it into a wrap. For the other meal in the day I'll have soup, or a healthy chicken wrap or equivalent.

Good luck, I'm sure you will get the results in the end if you stick with it.
