What do you eat?

I think I might give this a go for a while.

Currently Keto and do 16:8 (or sometimes 18:6 depending on how my day pans out), so happily fat adapted.

Not quite a goal weight, but loosing a steady 2-3kg/month. Want one last big push as BIG birthday at the end of summer.

Doing my first OMAD today.

Black coffee/water this morning
Lunch- duck breast with stir fried veg and some chicken satay (ate out) 1pm
Mint tea/chicken stock this afternoon.

Pleasantly surprised that I’m not ravenous this evening, but not sure I’ve eaten enough! Should I eat more???

I’ve been doing this for three weeks now.

Would you like a buddy? Smile

I do try not to weigh in every day . I forgot to check my starting weight but I estimated it around 14st 7lb which is usually where I hang around - I’m now 14st .

I don’t plan to weigh again until 1st July.

When I work from home , I usually eat around midday and try to stick to around 1200 calories .

I won’t eat again until midday the next day - I only consume low calorie juice for the next 24 hours . (I get headaches with plain water!)

I don’t obsess over calories ; if I want some chocolate I’ll have it , but I keep it within reason .

I do record everything in MFP so I can get an idea of what I can eat / not eat on that day , it helps me think more carefully .

I’ve tried all the diets including 5:2 and OMAD is ridiculously easy for me .

I don’t have to “worry” about food / meal planning for the rest of the day as I’m done by noon .

On days I work around clients , I change my eating times to 4pm and carry on right through to the following 4pm . I find these ones harder as I’m going all day thinking about the next meal Grin

I drink lots of water / juice .

I don’t exercise (I’m disabled and find it too difficult ) .

Today I’m having homemade spaghetti bolognese with some garlic bread and a Cadbury twirl for dessert Grin

Comes in at around 1150 calories and that will be me done until lunch time tomorrow .

Smile

I've been 16:8 and keto and seem to have fallen into the OMAD accidentally (with the odd post dinner snack before the window closes). I'm feeling great and weight is coming off but I'm really struggling with calories and macros. I'm finding myself eating dark chocolate just to get over the 1000calories so that mfp won't shout at me. Grin

Just had dinner and the kids wanted hot dogs. So I got hotdogs, cut them and put in cheese then wrapped them in streaky bacon. Served it with raw spinach and some naught pizza express dressing. Probably my naughtiest meal for a bit, processed and whatnot.

I've been using the diet doctor site which has some great recipes.
