Another weight loss one please!

I'm 5 ft 4.5 and 11 stone (just). At my lightest was 8/8.5 stone in my 20s and approx 10 and a half/10 stone about a year ago.

Am 47, on levothyroxine.

My daily diet is:-

Oat granola, full fat fruit yogurt and blueberries or nectarine

lunch - can be anything from egg and cress sandwich (homemade) on Vogel soya and linseed bread to asparagus, tarragon and potato bake (left over) today. Often add a yogurt

Dinner is anything from Sainsburys Naice (forget name) Cod Fish Cake with half potato, broccoli and carrots to roast chicken dinner yesterday. Quite like Turkish chicken pilau with raisans and saffron, also mediterranean veggies (like ratatoiulle) chicken with veggies. Happy to cook different for DC and DH.

I do snack and this tends to be Marmite rice cakes (2 or 3 with Pro Flora Active) plus 1 marmite small cheese etc.

Weekends if I cheat I have vogel toast and crunchy peanut butter and marmite. I also tend to go out with DH and/or friends 1 to 2 x a week for cocktails etc and dinner.

Apart from aqua aerobics which I try to do 2 x a week (try to get to the class 30 minutes earlier to have a swim) I don't do much walking but walked 4km to gym last week and have easily walked (when without DC) to nearest town which is approx 15km - fairly easily.

Would love to get to 9 stone.

Any tips? Logged onto Noom but not sure I can do that one...

I have lost approx half a stone last year with a combo of fast walking every day for approx 15 minutes, cutting carbs (eg I just halve rice, pasta, potato portion).

I've lost 1st 1lb in 6 weeks and have 2 stone to get to my goal weight which will put me in the lower end of a healthy BMI.

I've gone on a low calorie (1200) diet. Nothing is off limits but need to portion control etc. I use MFP to track my intake.

I'm active due to my job but I don't count calories burned (unless a ridiculous amount!).

Good luck with whatever plan you go with.

I’m in the same boat as you. Was a slim size 10 in my 20s and early 30s (8 stone 10lb) and a slim 12 in late 30s/early 40s (10 stone). I now weigh in at 11 stone 3lb (am 5 foot 5). My diet hasn’t changed. I put it down to pre-menopause (my boobs must weigh half a stone!!). My son gets married later on this year and I want to get back down to 10 stone. I’ve started this month to eat more fruit and look at portion control. I no longer have wine in the house and have started back on the treadmill and some weights. Am hoping I can shift this stone sensibly within 6 months.
