I started last Monday at 201 lbs, I stuck rigidly to it except for in the evening, I gave up on the evening meals and made my own 200kcal meal eg fish and veg.
Have lost half a stone and no longer hungry all the time!!
Good luck!

justcallmepeter · 24/06/2019 08:30

I started last Wednesday, 177lbs. I decided to weigh in yesterday as I am going to have a (small) meal on a Sunday evening.
Even so, I have lost 5lbs so i was really pleased.
I am having 3 products a day +200 cals approx- a kind of Michael Moseley 800 cals per day thing 😊

BelleEnd1 · 24/06/2019 08:43

Thank you both for sharing and well done on your losses!!
I'm doing the 3 meal replacement for this week but open to swapping in an evening meal if I can't poo

I started Exante today. Had a chocolate shake so far but really struggled with it. I might have to get Lighterlife instead but so £££!

I've got a variety box so hopefully will get on better with some other flavours.

I am 247lbs so a long way to go. I lost 6st on Lighterlife ten years ago but over time and pregnancies have put it back on plus more.

BelleEnd1 · 24/06/2019 15:41

Hi Juniper!

I chose the products individually rather than a variety box as I can't stand milkshakes.
I had a bar for lunch which was ok but a bit sickly to eat!

Hi Belle,

Yes, I think I will choose products individually in future. I actually bought the variety box on a deal months ago but it's sat on my shelf watching me eat cake ever since!

I had a vegetable soup pack for lunch which was much nicer but a bit lumpy despite me whisking for ages with a mini whisk. I seem to remember having a little battery operated cappuccino frother when I did LL which was good at getting lumps out but no idea where it is now.

In the afternoon I got a horrible headache despite drinking plenty of water. Took a couple of nurofen and when DH came home I had a nap. Not sure how I am going to get through the transition phase with two children as well as my job to stay alert for. I think I might also end up doing it part time and having a low-carb evening meal.

Keep me updated with how you're getting on! Well done to the other posters for their progress so far.

I have done Exante before my tip is to have the legal bovril type drink for salt and to help fill you up. Good luck!

Teacakeandalatte · 24/06/2019 19:54

The salt helps as you will lose a lot of fluid in week 1 and it's good to replace some of the salts which helps with the headaches and things like that.

BelleEnd1 · 25/06/2019 07:51

Have got a banging heads headache today- started last night. I just can't for the life of me bring myself to have a cup of oxo or whatever.

Think I might add some salt in with one of my pot-noodle style meals later.

I also felt super sick last night- i tried to have 2 products for dinner (had skipped breakfast) but it was far too much.

You can also use those rehydration powders you get from the chemist for diarrhoea .

MsJuniper · 27/06/2019 10:26

How are you doing Belle? I weighed myself this morning and am 7lbs lighter Shock

I have been having one small meal a day of protein and salad so I'm glad it's still working.

I'm going to get some LighterLife porridge & soups as I can't stomach the Exante ones and use Exante shakes and other bits. Prefer the fruity shakes to the choc - I whizz them up with ice and drink through a big straw which for some reason makes them nicer!

BelleEnd1 · 27/06/2019 20:27

Morning!
It's going ok- I have also added in the 200kcal protein and salad.
And I have also lost 7lbs!

In my head, I should be an absolute stunner right now, but someone took a picture of me sat with the kids on the grass earlier and I look horrendous. Was a bit of a kick

I totally agree that the LighterLife products are so much more 'normal' tasting. I've joined a new Xpress meeting nearby me too which they didnt have a few years back x

SamIreland1971 · 28/06/2019 09:58

Me too. LighterLife Xpress meeting in Harlow for me. Free weigh-ins and group every week. Stone and a half off for me so far.
I find the Xpress meetings better than other slimming clubs and the others charge for theirs!

Hi everyone - for those of you doing Exante, how is it going? On the back of some of the positive feedback I saw on here I'm starting today ...I'm 185lbs so I've a ways to go Grin
Just wondering for those of you who started in June how you're finding it....thanks!

MsJuniper · 07/07/2019 20:56

Weight loss slower in the 2nd week but I am down just over 12lbs in total. I am having a small protein meal each day. Feeling pretty motivated and only had one day when I really had to fight the urge to have a sandwich.

I'm doing a mixture of LL and Exante. LL is on special offer at Superdrug and I prefer the products so have stocked up.

PetrichorRain · 07/07/2019 20:58

DH and I started on Tuesday! We’re doing 2 meal replacements (breakfast and lunch) then a light dinner, keeping around 800-900 calories total per day. He’s lost 5lbs, I haven’t checked as I just go off my clothes fitting better.

RME578 · 07/07/2019 21:24

Well done to you both! That's really promising! Thanks for the feedback it's definitely motivation for me Smile

CIT80 · 07/07/2019 21:59

I’ve just done day 5 it’s been better than expected but am sticking to shakes and bars and all the ‘food’ type items I haven’t been able to stomach they are really really bad

CIT80 · 07/07/2019 22:04

As all*
