Hello Martha200 whats SW plan ????

Pollyanna · 18/09/2007 14:19

I'm goint to do this as soon as the sickness subsides - I've not avoided baguette or any other temptations so far , but as soon as I can stomach healthy food I'm definitely doing it (am only 12 weeks atm).

Have you been doing it?

sweetbean · 18/09/2007 14:31

Still asking what the sw plan is my guess is slimming world am i right ????

Congratulations Pollyanna

Sweetbean, yes I was meaning Slimming World. It has the backing of the Midwifery College as it is a sensible plan, rather than 'diet' for anyone, including those pregnant or breastfeeding.

Pollyanna - I am 22 weeks and carried on with the plan (I was going to group as well) as I'd lost a fair bit before I was pregnant and have been following the plan as close as I can, though not 100% I will say these days.. what with still pukey moments and the mad moments of desire for something not so 100% healthy .

I gave up going to group a few weeks ago, as in the weigh in queue, a couple of ladie started giving their opinions on how I looked and was it twins joke.. ho, ho) and being the emotional bag I am at times with this pregnancy completely embarrassed myself and broke down in tears and couldn't face the scales and so left in a mess

I am too embarrassed to return to the group, but still intend to limit the damage by doing what I can with this plan and definitely interested now if there was any one else out there in a similar position of being pregnant and trying the plan?

MARTHA2000 have you spoken to your group leader - she will be upset if you just disappear

Martha200 · 21/09/2007 10:54

Joby - No, I have not. I gave my slip to the weigh in lady and said I was not staying as right then I felt I could not. She asked if I wanted to speak to the group leader but I knew she was busy with the new people and so I said I didn't feel I could right then.(makes me cringe when I think about it, was really embarrassing to be bawling in the queue .

This was 2/3 weeks ago, and pretty sure my CD is over now, so at least gave the leader some easy money
