Name changed to remain anonymous for this sensitive topic.
Just under 5ft5 and 9 stone- what would you imagine this woman’s body/appearance was like? What would you think?
Just trying to get a sense of what the public en masse would imagine with these stats.
Thank you all
Pipandmum · 14/06/2019 19:34
Normal size 12.
nooddsocksforme · 14/06/2019 19:36
Slim and size 8 to 10
Sunshineandshowers81 · 14/06/2019 19:36
Impossible to say, if they were toned muscular would look completely different to if they were not
formerbabe · 14/06/2019 19:37
Size ten
Fattytumtum · 14/06/2019 19:37
@Pipandmum...interesting! What weight would you think is a size 8 or size 10 at 5ft5?
lovelylondonsky · 14/06/2019 19:40
Slim, size 8
I'm 2 inches shorter and feel good at 9 stone.
pisspawpatrol · 14/06/2019 19:41
Slim and size 8-10. Going off my own height and body weight in the past, at a size 12 i was roughly 10.5-11st.
pisspawpatrol · 14/06/2019 19:42
Sorry it skipped a bit- my height is 5'4"
GlitterPixie · 14/06/2019 19:42
About a size 10
flamed12 · 14/06/2019 19:43
I’m about 5 6” and 8 stone 3 lbs and a size 8. So I imagine you’d be a size 10?
Wavingwhiledrowning · 14/06/2019 19:44
I'm 5' 4 & weigh 10 stone (I know this because I'm starting Couch to 5k tomorrow and had to put my weight in the app!). I'm a size 12, but am fairly slender - it's my (post 3 children) hips that put me at a 12. I'd guess much the same for your example.
Also according to DD(3) my arms are squishy. Lovely.
Pipandmum · 14/06/2019 20:04
My daughter is 5’ 6” and 10 stone and is size 12-14. So maybe at 9 stone a 10-12. That was what I based it on. But it so depends on build. You can look at two people same height and weight and they could be a couple sizes different.
OrchidInTheSun · 14/06/2019 20:11
Dress sizes don't mean anything. My sister is much thinner than I am at a size 12. She's broad and well muscled. I'm not.
managedmis · 14/06/2019 20:32
Probably they look like taller than they actually are at these stats
LuckyLou7 · 14/06/2019 20:34
Slim. Looking good in pretty much any kind of clothes.
sqirrelfriends · 14/06/2019 20:36
Depends on build and muscle tone but I would say about a 6 or an 8. I'm tiny at that weight but have a very small build.
WindsweptEgret · 14/06/2019 20:38
Size 8 to 10.
Nemesia1264 · 14/06/2019 20:38
Size 10 roughly but depends on build/bust size etc
DottieLottie1 · 14/06/2019 20:40
When I was 9 stone (4 years ago) I was a small size 8, but I'm 5'9". I'd say 9st at 5'5" would be a solid size 12.
Winifredgoose · 14/06/2019 20:41
Slim size 10.
Fattytumtum · 14/06/2019 21:24
Interesting to hear so many say a 12!
I’m a solid 10 (8 in vanity sizes like M&S, Phase 8 etc.) with stats of 33-27-34 (and skinny legs lol). Waist is my misery point (hence the username 😂)
Bigbopboo · 14/06/2019 21:51
I would never have said 12. I'm a 12 and weigh 10.5 stone and 5'3
Fattytumtum · 14/06/2019 21:58
Agree @Bigbopboo but I guess it just shows we are all different builds!
