I understand he has quite a few books, I am looking to clean up my diet a bit as it's very 'bad' carb heavy so need inspiration to drop the Danish pastries.

Anyone?
Or a good source of where to start?

DH and I have had success with 'The Fast 800' which has a good explanation of the diet and surprisingly tasty recipes at the back. I can also recommend 'The Fast Diet Recipe Book' by Mimi Spencer which also has good recipes if you just want a straight recipe book.

I have his Blood Sugar Diet book, and honestly, I don't think the recipes are well written. I frequently come across ones where it isn't clear on size or cooking time, and one in particular mentions crisping some pancetta and then totally fails to tell you what to do with it.

Thanks, I might give the Mimi Spencer one a whirl.
I am slightly worried that I might actually die if I don't have carbs with every meal.
I might have to wean with accompaniments of chickpeas and brown rice initially.
