Paul McKenna and quitting sugar

Hi All,

Anyone fancy a thread supporting each other through the Paul McKenna quitting sugar hypnosis CD?

I know sugar is my main barrier to weight loss - I am also trying to eat mindfully, enjoy food, consider why I overeat etc - but the addictive nature of sugar means these other lovely nurturey things will only get me so far!

I am cutting out sugar from today, and going to listen to the CD tonight and (hopefully!) every night this week. I am not mad on the book, it is over-simplistic and the language is a bit over the top, but I am willing to try it!

Oh, I have 5 stone to lose, am age 39, and want to relax and enjoy food...

I've done his 'i can make you thin' in the past which I feel worked at the time but here I am now 5 stone overweight and not doing enough about it😭

I.am.100% addicted to sugar I know it I crave sweet things a lot. Are you just listening to the cd on an evening? Should it just work without any extra effort or are you trying to be healthier too? I could be interested in giving it a go

Hi Stargirl!
I have only managed to listen once this week! But on Monday, started to eat low-carb again - I have done this before and it suits my body, I just need to stick to it!

So treating most carbs as sugars really, and trying to avoid. I certainly felt relaxed after doing the CD which is a bonus!

I also have 5 stone to lose, agh. Interesting that the other book worked for you.
