Does anyone else not lose weight when it's hot/summer?

I must be the only person to find it harder to lose weight when it's hot/summer as everyone I know comments they aren't hungry as it's too hot or they are eating salads and losing weight.

Whereas for me yes I will have salads but I love all the dips and things to go with the salads and I tend to eat more snack food as it's hot just grab something quick rather than cook proper meals but then end up snacking again.
Is anyone else like this or am I just weird?

I'm like it too - I am just as hungry in summer as at any other time of year. I drink wine outside with lots of crisps. I wish it did kill my appetite but sadly it doesn't - in fact nothing does.

It'd take a lot more than a bit of hot weather to kill my appetite. Plus there's all the BBQs and beer in the garden.

I think my issue is that I have really bad water retention, look swollen and bloated, it happens every summer or when I go away and I think that’s why I end up putting on more weight than losing. I just think I look all swollen and no matter what I do regarding diet it’s not going to work so I just end up eating more in the summer Confused

Nice cold beer, nice barbecue at the weekend, a wee ice lolly, day at the beach having fish and chips, summer is terrible for weight loss!

Luckily I do find the better weather motivating. Summer clothes give a lot less camouflage.
