Morning all.

Not sure of meal plans today, DH is off work (I'm working) and has mucked everything up Grin. We were going to have a steak dinner, he's now saying maybe tomorrow and we can get t/away or go for pub dinner later. However he is really umming and ahhhing it.

Unbeknownst to him as he is unaware of my dieting, that really messes me up. I'm now going to fast breakfast and lunch just in case! Then he will probably decide on the steak again Hmm

My dh must wonder why I'm suddenly way more interested on what exactly we're planning to do when it comes to food!

Also he probably thinks I'm conducting an affair, the amount of times he's come across me lurking in a corner with my phone, surreptitiously looking up calories, updating MFP or this thread! Grin

Plan for today:

B: fasting
L: palm heart etc salad (150 cals)
D: Chinese takeaway and wine (800 cals +)

Going to aim to keep below 1300 cals today if possible.

I'm laughing at myself having to work my days calories out in situations like this. It's not an obsession but I'm determined not to spoil my hard work Grin. DH is still faffing with dinner plans!

Pub dinner as table now booked. Think I will go for a chicken and bacon Caesar salad and chips. With some wine I should round off the day at just under 1200 cals.

Steak will wait for tomorrow Grin

I think I'll end on 1250 cals today which I'm happy with for a Friday night. I'm pleased that I've kept under 1200 cals on average for the week, which I've not managed since the first week or two. Your idea of making mon-fri 1k days has really helped!

I'm good and happy as I caught sight of myself in the mirror at work and was really surprised at how much younger my face was looking. I was expecting to look a bit jowly after losing weight but I look 10 years younger and this was under harsh lighting.

B - fast (cup of tea)
L - a chicken thigh, 3 mouthfuls of ratatouille, coffee
Snack - 3 digestives, coffee
Dinner - so far 2 chicken thighs, tender stem broccoli and a lemon ice lolly.

I will defo be under 1000 today.

Tomorrow I'm out so will be drinking prosecco and / or G&T and snacking on picnic type food with friends.

Sunday DD wants me to take her to an animal sanctuary so no idea what we will be eating or when.

Got away with it I think! Will admit to it when probed. Although no one has noticed yet. I was never huge (14-16 maybe) but just not me (8-10). I look totally different when slimmer Hmm

Another dieting secret... I have to stealth weigh with the bathroom door locked, try to get the scales to work without plonking them down too noisily, and then remember to switch the scales back to Stones every day so my dh doesn't know I've used them (I use them on Pounds) Grin

Just measured myself and taken a good look at my tummy (all behind a locked door also!)

I've only lost about half cm off my hips in the last week but I think it's mostly from my tummy or that's where it's showing.

My tummy only sticks out about a 1.5 inches in profile now (from the totally flat part just above my public bone) tho I'm not sure it can be totally flat anyway post c-section.

I remember at my biggest in April I realised couldn't see my pubes even if I breathed in whereas now I can see them without breathing in. Success! Grin

Plans today...

B: v BLT
L: will avoid if possible or eat something light
D: not sure yet but probably something like home-made pizza

Aiming for 1300 cals max.

My stomach is starting to flatten too agree it might not be possible without extreme workouts after C section.

Working today over lunchtime so I miss that anyway. Dinner will be a mini bbq as we have steak that needs eating. Probably a little chorizo sausage, chicken thighs and corn. Plus a couple of glasses of Prosecco.

Should be a 1200 day which is good as I normally have a little blowout on a Saturday Wink

Haha at "public bone"... reminds me of a friend and ex-mnetter's tale of going to the swimming pool without her tankini bottoms on and not realising until her DH was like Shock  I think she changed her username to Public Hair for a while Grin

Also, hopefully without totally outing myself, an aspect of my work involves helping women become more acquainted with themselves down there, which felt a bit out of alignment when I couldn't even see my own!

We're going to the cinema now so will opt for a small popcorn (for the first time ever) and aim to have a smallish dinner. Even tho I'm happy to eat more cals at the weekend I don't want to go overboard and undo all my good work of the 1k days.

I finished off on 1085 cals yesterday, yay.

@Seer so a bit like Barbara Streisand in Meet the Fockers, one of my favourite films, is how I imagine you now.

I'm knackered so will probably chill out at home. Might pop out later if I get a burst of energy.

B - nothing so far.
L - not even hungry, probably some broccoli and chicken later. Or steak actually like @DottieLottie1 as there is one hiding in the back of the fridge I'd forgotton about.

I won't eat again till much later though it'll have to be a chicken salad which I'm more than happy with.

Just finishing up my Prosecco and on 1170 cals for the day. No real Saturday blowout this week. Weigh in Monday.

Tomorrow will be :

B- almond milk, vanilla and whey shake

L- berries

D- roast chicken wraps with salad and olives

How are we all this evening?

1232 calories for me and that includes my homemade mango sorbet ice cream which came to 300 cals.
I’m delighted to announce I bought a pair of age 14-15 year old cycling type shorts to wear under my skirts and dresses to avoid any future chub rub. Although I was fine today wearing a dress without shorts and legs were fine albeit very pale Hmm

I’m using my phone because I laughed earlier right after taking a sip of water and sprayed it all over my lap top. Idiot. Grin so had to turn it all off, dry it and turn it upside down. It’s really weird on MN on my phone

@TantricTwist oops. I always use my phone hence the number of typos! I think secret dieting would be more tricky using a laptop as I would be forever clearing its history. Maybe this is becoming a bit obsessive GrinGrinGrin

I'm surprised and thrilled to be a pound down today!

5lb to go until my goal weight! Though I will pause and celebrate when I get there, I will continue dieting if my waist isn't at my goal size by then.

I had a rare child-free night last night and ended up drinking way too much alcohol so totally went over on calories.

Will try to have a better day today though I'm out with friends later and want to relax and enjoy myself. Will aim to eat light until then.

B: not sure, maybe a v BLT
L: nothing hopefully!
D: Thai curry and rice (mmmm!) with a glass or two of something

What are your plans?

@Seer 5lb to go that's brilliant. More like 20lb for me even if I am trying on and buying age 14-15 cycling shorts that fit.

I avoided all alcohol and bad food yesterday by not meeting my friends (it is these sessions that are my downfall) and shopping with DD instead once she'd parted with her friends and we had a lovely afternoon together.

Today I'm meant to be going out somewhere but I really can't be bothered.

Another good day, won't eat anything else now so that's 1069 cals. I will probably have a cuppa but I only take the smallest of splashes of semi-skimmed as I love my tea dark strong! I haven't used the car today as all my errands were walkable.

B - Fast
L - Two chicken thighs, one medium potato accompanied by tomato and mozzarella salad with a drizzle of balsamic.
D - Aubergine and butternut squash bake with mozzarella.
Dairy milk chocolate bar and strawberry yoghurt ice cream made from 0% Fage yoghurt and a tin of strawberries in syrup so around 100 cals a portion. The DC loved it despite it's yoghurt sour taste. Will make it with 5% Fage next time and add honey.

So far coming in at 1091 calories.

Went with DD to an animal sanctuary she wanted to visit, had a lovely time there.

My prepared lunch for tomorrow is a chicken salad with, you guessed it mozzarella, a tomato, lettuce and french dressing.

It sounds as though you two have done well today.

I've probably gone over on calories today but it's tricky to calculate as I ate out tonight. Ah well, I seem to be doing ok with staying at 1k in the week and having a lot more at weekends!

I'm still loving the kettlebell and have started adding in some more exercises with it. My plan is to end up with an amazing bum - apparently it's good for for that kind of magic Grin
