This is always the hardest bit for me. Day 1, evening once DC is in bed. I am in the habit of having a sweet treat once I sit down. I don’t need one, I’m full from dinner!

This might not be the right thing to say, but I always leave myself some calories (I calorie count) after dinner. I eat early with the kids at 5pm so 'need' something after I've sat down.

I've found a few things that come in about 100 cals. Tonight I had low fat yoghurt and honey. A favourite is those mini magnum kind of things. Morrisons own brand are about 100 cals. I plan my whole day out and make sure I save a bit for my treat!

Otherwise, maybe paint your nails? Means your hands are out of action for a while!

Have a drink of water then brush your teeth, go for a bath, read a book to take your mind off it.

Ohh yes I’ll do my nails! They need shaping.

I’m also thinking a glass of milk might satisfy a sweet craving

Eat pickled gherkins. The chilli ones from Aldi are awesome , v low calorie and kill the taste for sugar. Grin

(Currently on a 5:2 fast (500 cals) day .......)

16:8 fasting is working wonders for me. Just make sure your eating healthy sweet treats like fruit. Once you feel the results it becomes easier to discipline yourself.
