If so, what kind did you have? And did you have to wait ages for the operation? Interested in hearing people's experiences. Thank you.

Just thought I'd update this thread to say I did it! Thanks to posters who PMd me with advice. Just a few days post op but already feeling better. Fingers crossed I heal ok and don't get any nasty side effects.
