That dreaded plateau.....

I posted this in chat but re posting where people are doing the same as me.
I've been trying to lose weight for 7 weeks.

I've lost 17 pounds by calorie control and balancing between fat, carbs and protein. Reduced saturated fats and sugar. I've got move active too.

However, for the last 2-3 weeks, I've been locked in a battle of wills with the scales. It gets to a certain point, wont move beyond that, then I gain weight, lose it, but no further than that point.

Where am I going wrong? I just want to lose than god awful belly fat that curses me.

Do you have much weight left to lose? Sometimes if you're very close to target it gets really tricky. Low carbing can help shift a few stubborn pounds.

Are you really weighing/measuring your portions? And remembering everything you consume?

All that stuff. Even have a food diary.

Ive got loads of weight to lose. Im not expecting a quick fix but i want to know something is going.

Even after 17 pounds no one has noticed.
