I am about to start a shake diet.
Before anyone says this I know exercise, healthy eating, and portion control are the best way forward. But I need a controlled method to start with that is regimented. My plan is:
Month 1:
Breakfast : shake
Snack: carrot sticks and celery, small fruit salad, yogurt with oats and or grains (snack of 100 calories)
Lunch: Shake
Snack: snack of 100 calories like special k bar and cup of tea
Dinner: of 500 calories
Only water, herbal tea, or sugarless tea after that.
Month 2: Shake for breakfast
Snack: of 100 calories
Lunch : healthy lunch of about 300 calories
Snack: of 100 calories and a cuppa
Dinner: healthy dinner of about 500 calories
Month 3: same a months 2
Month 4 replace shake with healthy breakfast (hoping by this time I'll have learnt better control)
I also go to the gym 3 times a week so Dr has said before I go to the gym to make sure I have a small protein and carb snack for energy like a boiled egg with spinach and edamme beans etc.
What I need help with is choosing a shake, what ones have you used and had success with, what ones did you like, which ones didn't you like?
Please do not try and sell me herbal life my SIL has it if I need some. Thanks in. Advance
