Just seen my holiday countdown and realized I won't wear a bikini...I need help!

I am around a size 14 so not huge but I do not feel comfortable in my own skin at all since having DCs. I feel like I am not myself and it makes me feel so sad.
Seeing myself in a recent photo I was tagged in has made me feel like I am looking at a stranger.

I used to be very active about 5 years ago and a size 8-10, now my stretch marks look terrible, my boobs are gone thanks to BFing and my belly is saggy and spilling over my jeans...

I have about 8-10 kgs to loose which I know is not realistic given my holiday is in 35 days but I feel like I need to loose at least SOMETHING. To tone up. Feel better about myself and maybe even brave a bikini I have been eyeing up. Blush

What do I do and where do I start if I want to make a noticeable difference in a month?
I can workout at home when LO is asleep and potentially carve out one morning a week for something else/class/run.
I have also already started a dance fit class one evening a week for 45mins.

Can anyone throw any advice my way?

@LiliesAndChocolate thanks for all the tips. Well cold turkey is what I tried but obviously failed as you can see from my last post.

I am still getting to grips with how to do this but at the moment I think I'm trying to create a calorie deficit (is that how you spell it) by cutting out the snacks and sweets I would usually have and being more mindful about what I do eat/snack on and working out in order to loose weight and tone up.
I've upped my water intake, I don't drink alcohol (last drink I had was about a month and a bit ago), I don't drink much juice or fizzy drinks. It is mostly just the extras I would pick up when grocery shopping or at a petrol station and my sedentary lifestyle I think.

Also I've decided that I'm going to try and take care of my body a bit more from the outside too as I don't usually, I'm putting more effort to moisturise after a shower, today I tried exfoliating with ground coffee (I read about it somewhere I think) and my skin feels amazing! I've also applied a bit of gradual self tan moisturiser hoping it'll make a bit of a difference as my natural skin colour is "pale as a ghost".

@sadkoala Ground coffee is great, I love it as much as I hate the mess it leaves in the shower! An another good alternative is olive oil+honey + crystal salt. Still leaves a messy shower but easier to clean as it doesn't go everywhere as much. Careful it becomes super slippery.

What would really make a difference to your skin would be to do your own carrot juice and have a glass a day, or braise your carrots in 1 cm of water in a pan, so you don't loose a single nutrient. Kale also gives you a glow, and double or better triple concentrate of tomato paste one or two tablespoons a day. and of course sitting for 20 min in the sun at midday when it shines baring as much skin as possible.

Stop buying stuff at a petrol station and stop buying children food for yourself. Don't fall in that trap. Marketing men have made a brilliant job at selling the idea that it is ok to eat children food or party food as an adult everyday . You are just making someone's bonus fat by buying that stuff.

Put that money in a glass jar and save it for yourself, a trip at the beautician for a lymphatic massage, a nice new swimsuit, ....

Try these drinks instead of a juice of fizzy. Make a very strong green tea (you will dilute it with ice, so double the amount of tea) and put it in a blender with 6 or more ice cubes, a handful of frozen blueberries an a handful of frozen raspberries , and blend together. No sugar, no syrup. A very refreshing drink, highly charged with nutrients. Or hibiscus tea. I do an overnight cold brew in the fridge and hibiscus tea is so refreshing and energising. Drink it with a straw to protect the enamel of your teeth.

Put two chicken breasts in your oven. and slice them in your salad. Boil a piece of cod and crumble it in your lettuce, drains can of chickpeas and add them to a tomato+fresh chopped parsley + a bit of onion said, buy black rice and have half cup in your minestrone soup, ..
Borrow from the library books about the gut and eat the best food you deserve. Not only for your weight but for lifelong health. And setting the best example for your children.

And maybe then change your username from sadkoala to happykoala or better strongkoala , gorgeouskoala

Wear the bikini.
Stand tall pull your tummy in, stick your boobs out.
Get a tan, the vitamin D will do you good.

I wear a bikini all the time, and wear my stretch marks with pride.
I feel better when I'm slimmer
but I feel best of all with healthy skin
