Hi there,

Demented - i programmed your number into my phone without writing it down and I have deleted the email with it now.

I can't find my phone at the moment but and sure that it is not lost outside the house, although it could have been packed in one of the numerous boxes.

Glad you're enjoying your holiday Yorkiegirl!

Hi everybody! Well done Demented - another 2lb off you obviously never hada carry-out & black magic chocs like me last week! But actually I'm proud of myself - I've not had any chocolate, biscuits, cakes or anything sweet for 5 days now ( I had 2 days of headaches from sugar withdrawal though )I hope to keep it up for another week - my bro. in laws wedding is looming - I dont want to look like a beached whale!

Demented · 10/09/2004 22:42

Hi Artyalex, you've done so well this week! That dress will be hanging on you by the time your BIL's wedding comes round!

The carryout and the chocs??? You're right I wasn't eating them it was a clever trick while you were munching I was actually eating carrot sticks, if you put your hand down the side of your sofa you'll probably find my dinner and chocs, sorry!

Just to add 2lbs yes but it was the 2lbs I put on last week, I'm sort of see-sawing just now!

Being incredibly good this week... in fact, I can't remember the last time I was this good!

Been having steamed veg and cottage cheese for lunch. It's actually very nice, although I've been getting some very strange looks from my work colleagues and odd comments about 'healthy' eating.

Hoping to lose my 2lb by Friday.

How are you all doing?

BR

Brilliant Bunnyrabbit, I could do with some of your resolve. I'm a bit up and down these days, trying to be better though!

Hello everyone, especially our new members with their first weigh-in this week, remember mails due by 6pm tomorrow at the latest!

Well, I went on holiday last week firmly resolved to stick to my diet and come back having lost 5lbs. But the second I got out the car my resolve decided it needed a holiday too and prompty disappeared! Proceeded to eat everything in sight all week with no remorse (it was apparently sunning itself with resolve, will-power and guilt). So, I have put on a pound, unsurprisingly. What is surprising is that I didnt put on more! Anyway, we are ALL back now, so heres to another week.

LunarSea · 17/09/2004 11:00

Ooh MinaM - I wish I could go on holiday, not stick to it and come back only having gained 1 lb. We were only away for a 6 nights, I did try to be good (salads every day, no desserts EVER, lots of walking) but toast for breakfast every morning and a glass of wine every night meant I came back 8 lbs heavier than I went away . (At least it was ONLY 8lbs - last time we wnet away I gained that much in just 2 days!) Forutantely I had lost 2 lbs before we went, and have managed to shift to other 6 since we got back, so I'm back where I was 2 weeks ago, but that's a big relief compared to what the scales were saying on Saturday!

Does anyone know where can I get a body which only deals in gains/losses of a pound or so at a time, not a minimum of half a stone?

MadameButterfly · 17/09/2004 13:38

Hi there

I have lost again this week.

I am at the inlaws, using therir connection atm. I can get free access at the library, so I think DD will be turning into a book worm

Thanks for your congratulations - I feel I should confess though .. I only lost 2 lb this week - still pleased though

(The problem is my fault, sorry, as I told you my weight this week, not my loss. My total loss shown below is correct: I think there must have been an error somewhere else along the way.)

Demented · 17/09/2004 20:49

Sorry Roisin, don't know how that's happened, 2lb is still fab!

Sorry to be late again.. I have an excuse this week at least. I didn't work today and had DS all day for a change and I must admit haven't been on the net all day! We've been out lots and had visitors... mm lovely day.

After being so good from Monday I have managed to lose the 2lb I put on last week. So that brings me back up to the 14lb mark.

Have to be extra good next week as I have dance auditions next friday for my Amateur operatics group and need to be able to do the can can without 'shaking all over'

Well done one and all.. remember now weight loss is better that a weight gain..

BR

bunnyrabbit · 17/09/2004 22:17

that should say 'No weight loss is better than a weight gain'

I really should preview...
