I have had a bit of a realisation hit recently that I’m extremely unhappy with myself and in turn it’s affecting my overall confidence and mood...

My husband is wonderful but I have even been offish with him the last few months and it’s purely because I feel so rotten and disappointed in myself.

I don’t eat a huge amount I don’t think but we are big foodies and definitely connect and enjoy our time together with food and drink which is something I’d really like to cut back on...

Rugby’s on out come the crisps, nuts and beer.

Suns out, grab me some wine, olive, dips and cheese.

Monday morning blues, I’ll bake a chocolate cake to cheer us all up.

It’s not a bad way to live but the food and drink is only short lived enjoyment before I’m mourning the loss of another favourite pair of jeans that are too tight and feeling even more rubbish about myself.

Anyway enough self wallowing, I have excused myself through best part of two and half stone and it’s time I stop chatting and start doing something about it!

Wondered and hoped that there might be others out there that feel similar and want to become friends and can give and/or need a bit of support.

weighed today and I’m 12st12lbs and my first target is to get down to 12st and a single number 1lb...

Today I have had ready brek with strawberries.

Small portion of salad with beetroot, toasted hazelnut, goats cheese and watercress salad with a honey dressing and a toasted muffin.

Dinner is going to be scallops (not a usual Tuesday night dinner but we got reduced at the Morrison’s fish counter!! 🤣) small amount of black pudding and pea purée, definitely will need a glass of wine with that meal though!!...

Goal for today is take the dog out for a big walk and not snack between lunch and dinner...

Morning all!! Smile

@Crazzzycat that’s good to know that you have found out the Ib’s have dropped in fits and spurts, I think it’s quite disheartening when you are putting all the effort in and have only a half lb drop, which I think will be me this week but I guess there are lost of variables that can effect it!

Haha your mountain walk sounds fun!!

@Oysterbabe well done on your loss, your coconut curry sounds amazing, do you use a specify recipe?

I have many many clothes that I used to fit into and they all sadly sitting on the hangers in my wardrobe but am determined that this summer I will be able to wear them again...

I was slimmest I have ever been after having my 3rd daughter, about 10st3lb’s and it’s also the most comfortable and confident I have been in my own skin and I’m determined to get back there.

Again yesterday meal plan didn’t to my plan haha, with the girls never ending social life’s, after school clubs, riding, tutors, parents evenings and everything else it’s hard to keep to a rigid plan, but still don’t think I did too bad...

Breakfast egg on toast
Snack two yogurt covered rice cakes (in Aldi’s and really good!!)
Lunch hummus, crackers and strawberry
Snack half a wholmeal tuna sandwich
Dinner pizza (and um...wine! Blush)

Today husband is off work so not sure what we are up too but I’m going to try and a do something active to burn off last nights calories!! X

OysterBabe that’s a great reason to lose weight. It should be totally possible to smash that target!

“Itsdeffotime” my meal plan went out of the window too. I tried a different lunch and it was disgusting, so I just used my calorie allowance on crisps.

Dinner was a disaster too as my husband was cooking and he doesn’t seem to know the difference between a teaspoon and a tablespoon of chilli flakes. It was HOT! So, I had even more crisps instead of my dinner.

I’m hoping for a better day today. Noodle salad for lunch, with a chilli and lime dressing and a quorn and watercress stir fry for dinner.

Haha crisps for dinner is definitely a winner...especially with a nice dip!! Smile

I’m doing well today so far all had is poached eggs and mushrooms on toast, it was delicious but I can feel the dreaded sugar pangs coming on so I’m going to try and keep dinner...

My girls have a riding lesson tonight and then we are out near enough straight after so we have a lot of lentil soup on the go and I might allow myself a little bit of crusty bread!!

I’m down another lb and now at 12.10 rather than the 12.13 I felt very miserable about last week...

I have just read on a weigh compassion site that 3lbs is the equivalent to an average human brain...ill take that!! Grin

Well done deffo chip, chip, chip away at it and we'll get there.

Don't worry about the crisps crazzzy just try not to let an off plan day carry over for days like I always do

Lunch ended up being a ham, blue cheese and tomato omelette. It was good.

My curry it very much a chuck anything in affair. This time there's Coconut milk, veg stock cube, ginger, garlic, cumin, Stewing steak, red pepper, mushrooms, onion. Later I'll take some out for the kids then add some extra curry powder for DH and I.

Just my omelette, black coffee and water so far today. I tend to relax a bit on Saturday so I'll eat breakfast tomorrow, have lunch out at the zoo and maybe a takeaway of some kind for dinner. As long as I stick to no sugar and no snacking I'll be happy.

I have stuck to my plan quite well today, had two of Aldi yogurt covered rice cakes with a cup of tea at around 3 and just about to sit down to my big bowl of soup!!

How was everyone's weekend? Mine wasn't great and I don't know if I can undo it by weigh in on Friday. I am having a fast day today, just water and coffee until the chicken curry I'm making later. It's tough going as I'm knackered after the kids kept me up all night. I'd love a pile of toast then a nap right now.
