Hello all, Frida here. I used to come to this site for advice when my kids were younger (they are teens now) and now that I find myself in "the chub predicament" I figured I would come here to see if I can make some weight loss buddies?
Something about me:
- I have 14 kg (2.2 stone) to lose to get to my optimum weight.
- I work in the arts and I am a writer (of boring non-fiction stuff, so the non-glam, no-money, precarious kind).
- I have 2 kids, 2 cats and a husband (not in order of importance).
- I suffer of anxiety because of my precarious work situation (not so much I can't get out of bed because I can't face the world but somedays it's a close thing).
- I quite like exercise even if at the moment I am not doing much (getting back into it).
- I also quite like healthy food - my problem is portion control and emotional eating when anxious/stressed (see above) and tend to eat less when I am happy.
- I am following an old WW plan using an app as I used WW to lose weight after my kids were born and it worked very well.
It would be great to make some online friends; if there are other threads that cover this please let me know, but I figured out if there is someone who is starting out, maybe you could join me and we could chat about our weight loss trajectories.
