I am off out tomorrow night with my lovely friend anorak for a curry but not sure if I should do a red or green day. I reckon my choices are :-

red - starter ???? main course tandoori chicken with salad,

green - veg curry with rice, maybe side dish of sag aloo (if that is pot and spinach one)

What would you have ?????

what a surprise Kayleigh is off out again

personally would do a red day our indian does a prawn cocktail you could have that for starter then the tadoori chicken for main.....

MummyToSteven · 07/09/2004 12:56

i would definitely go for the tandoori chicken - bound to be less fatty than cream/yoghurty sauce on the veggie curry! starter - erm....dunno

lilibet · 07/09/2004 13:02

Flexible sins !!

anorak · 07/09/2004 13:27

Whatever you choose I will choose something you can't have and munch it in front of you, and cackle

can I just say I am not out all the time. It just seems like it . And have you noticed it always revolves around food !! Have three mumsnetter meet-ups this week and that doesn't even include weds night out with anorak (the bitch). Am I officially the mumsnet bike grin]

LOL @ mumsnet bike!

I would go for green day and have lots of lovely veggie things - dahls and nice green veggie dishes plus some nice rice.

lou33 · 07/09/2004 16:29

Green cos I love sag aloo.

earlygirl · 07/09/2004 16:51

earlygirl · 07/09/2004 16:52

You could have both - have tandoori/tikka starter as a healthy extra/a&b choice and then the veg curry.

Kayleigh · 07/09/2004 19:05

Thanks for all your input. Have pondered and pondered and decided i couldn't sit and watch anorak eat a curry and me not have one. So am going for a green day. Will stay off the naan and use sins for the sauces. Will probably have the sag aloo as a starter and then veg curry and rice. Will have to stick to this choice now as have just made my salad for lunch at work tomorrow and included kidney beans and sweetcorn in it. So definitely Green.

Kayleigh - forget red and green day business - be naughty and just anything you fancy on the night. And just in case if you are feeling guilty - wash it away with several glasses of wine.

Kayleigh · 08/09/2004 14:36

no way Metrobaby. If I don't lose a stone before fairydust I'm going to have to buy her lunch. Too risky
