Hello all!

I’m a FTM and my DS is now 10 months old! My mat leave is ending very soon obviously (i took 12 months) and would love to go back to work feeling good about myself!
Until
Now breastfeeding and gentle excercise (swimming, some body balance classes) have helped me lose about 30 of the 40 pounds I put on during pregnancy but I’m stuck with the last 10 so I’d like to ramp it up a bit! My main issue is sweets with coffee, mum date style. Cake, biscuits etc are so appealing when you’re exhausted! Any tips and positive stories or anyone else in the same bag tell me all!

Stats:
HW: 85kg week before I gave birth
CW: 65 kg/143 lbs/10st3
Pre babe weight/goal weight: 60kg/130lbs/9st 4 (I’m happy and healthy in a 2 lb range either way)

I just wanna fit in my nice work clothes and feel like me again!

Hi you sound like you are on the carb rollercoaster-as a fellow carb addict I can share what has worked for me
I would recommend the low carb bootcamp threads. At the moment you’re using sugar as a pick me up but it’s addictive and every time you just need more. The only way to break the habit is cold turkey.
We eat high fat low carb no sugar no sweetener no grains
I lost all my baby weight (4st) this way. It’s short term pain at the beginning as you may get cravings and feel a bit ugh but if you stick with it it’s great, I’ve got so much energy now even tho my daughter isn’t a great sleeper.
