I had an asthma attack without my inhaler yesterday and it really scared me. I'm sur eit's connected to having got so overweight. It made me realise I MUST take self-care seriously.

So for the next two weeks I'm on a strict fresh veg and protein diet with exercise and a mini makeover every day.

Today: berries for breakfast; homemade veg soup for lunch; salad for dinner.
Walk and kettlebell workout for exercise.
Home manicure for makeover.

Come and join me if you want support for doing something that is difficult and leaves you hungry but you'll do it anyway because the weight has to go.

Struggling today - had to go out for lunch at work. Picked the plainest tomato pasta but didn’t enjoy it and now freaked about what the heck I can eat for dinner. Argh

And yes totally agree with whoever mentioned issues concentrating when you’re feeling hungry!

Well I weighed myself and have lost 3lb! Very pleased. I've almost stuck to the diet properly, and have been very good about no sugar, bread, refined carbs at all (except two glasses of wine that slipped through.)

How is everyone else doing?

I’ve lost 5lb on the James Duncan diet although I only did 5 days of it and then the weekend got in the way. I’m going to do it again in a week or two.

And I’ve been doing YouTube yoga. I’d love to do it everyday but it’s probably been more like a few times a week.

The kids break up on Friday for half term so it’s going to be hard to stay away from temptation, they are always eating! Any tips for me?

5lb in 5 days? That's phenomenal. I need to take a look at it!
