Time to lose some weight! Who's with me?

There's lots of threads on this but I'm starting this one as I feel behind when I look at the other threads and people have made progress already. I'm 5'7 and weigh 12st 1lb. I want to get down to about 9 stone but need some encouragement. Every day, I'll log on my food and update weight weekly, be it good or bad. If anyone else would like to join me, I'd love to have other people share their journey. I have a sedentary lifestyle, normally not hitting over 1500 steps a day so that's something I'm focusing on, as well as diet. I use MFP to track steps and food. I'll start with yesterday's food:

Breakfast:
2 kiwis
Strawberries
Green tea

153 calories

Lunch:
Ham sandwich (trying to cut down carbs so will look for alternatives)
292 calories

Dinner:
Salmon fillet with broccoli: 248

Snacks:
3x custard creams (Sad)
1x ripple
1x large carrot

16oz water
1791 steps

Even if no-one joins, I'll still log this to see my progress and will weigh in next Friday. I'm going to be completely honest with what I eat, even if I fall off the wagon big time. Time to make a change Smile

Thanks I think you are right! I rarely have protein for breakfast and never last until
Lunch . Just been to buy some nice seeded bread to make scrambled eggs on toast tomorrow .

I definitely do better with no snacking if I have eggs for breakfast, and doing DeChox is also making me think about what I'm snacking on.

Yesterday was a bit of a strange one eating wise as I ended up working almost 2 hours from home 11-19.30

Breakfast: 2 x fried eggs on toast

Lunch: Sainsbury's BLT sandwich

Snack: 2 little squares of flapjack

Dinner: chicken and bacon sandwich and hula hoops while driving home

Weighed in this morning at 11st7.5 which is a new lowest weight and looking forward to getting into the next half stone bracket and being able to round to 11 rather than 12 stone!
