@Annunaki, not really. I mean I’ve just woke up an hour or so ago so I’m having lamb with red/white cabbage, onion, peas, sweetcorn and fried rice from the takeaway I bought last night with friends before work in a cold sweat about my weight 😂. Tonight it’ll be someother sort of leftover from the fridge but I’ll also be doing some reps with my weights before bed tonight.

@2angelbabies, I’ve bought some ‘herbal’ weight loss supplements. I know they won’t REALLY work but I’m hoping that a placebo affect will set in and if nothing else stay motivated to eat well.

@Annunaki see that’s the thing I don’t eat a lot. It freaks my best friend out how I can eat so little and so well (most of the time) and still be overweight (I’m also very lazy so that’s probably a factor) but I also have PCOS so I know to lose weight I need to really restrict my calorie intake. I’ve got a load of healthy veg and salad type stuff coming in my food order on Monday and I’ve got meat and things in the freezer.

Ha! 30 days abs is bad enough without a wine head! I did likewise and I’m now scared of the scales! Done well today and determined to see my way through until Friday night eating clean and avoiding wine..... we can do this! I’m also trying to clock up a lot of steps going between school run/kids groups/swim lessons etc. Children aren’t thanking me for it!

I can't take medication for it @Annunaki they can only give the pill or other birth control things like the coil or implant and I neither need nor want these due to other health concerns. It makes it really difficult to lose weight barr having really restrictive, low calorie diets. Exercise doesn't help at all really. Plus it means you carry weight like a man or pregnant woman, weight is almost exclusively around your middle. So according to my sisters I have a fabulous hourglass figure but then it looks like there's a beach ball or a baby in my stomach. I tend to wear clothing that is tailored to fit my waist and show off my cleavage as it makes me look better overall. Weight loss is also reduced because PCOS messes with your insulin production and fat/sugar storage so I mainly eat greens and proteins.

It's also more complicated/important that I lose some weight as one of the guys we were going away with can't go and if we can't find a fourth then my best friend won't come because the other guy and I are in her words effectively a couple without being a couple and she doesn't want to tag along or be a third wheel, plus apparently we irritate her when we're together without someone else there to distract her because we bicker and play fight a lot. Which means I may be going on a beach/theme/water park holiday with a very attractive guy on my own and that is terrifying.

I also had no idea about PCOS, you poor woman. Sounds horrible. What is docs advice re weight? You can’t just starve - that’s no way to live.

I have an apple watch and live in the hills so clock up 20k steps on a day with lots of after school activities etc but nothing like that many today - I can’t face the cold and wet!

@Annunaki, terrifying because we’re both very Christian (met in our churches student bible study) and we can get ‘silly’ and that’s not a euphemism 😂 but there is also the potential for stupidity to override common sense as we’d be sharing a room and I’m not sure how ok that is with me/him or our belief system. But it’s the best option for our pockets 😂. I’ve tried telling my friend that and easing her insecurities about it but now she’s saying it’s too expensive (it’s not is standard holiday price). The problem with finding a fourth is that they’d need to be a guy that we all know ideally. My friend is hoping to invite the guy she’s kind of dating but not really dating if that makes sense. But she keeps putting barriers up despite insisting that she’s wanting to go.

@greenflamingo, my dr has told me to eat between 700 and 900 calories a day and exercise for two hours every day and that while possible would be insane. I don’t have a spare two hours everyday and surely if I’m exerciseing I’ll need to eat so I don’t become ill. I’ve already cut out most carbs and limit the rest.

Motivation is the key!

You need to figure out for your self, why you want to lose weight!

Set a goal and think about how to achieve it! If necessary brake down your goal into small goals.

Think about by when do you want to achieve it.

Read more about it on my BLOG
