No motivation.

It's got a stupid title but it doesn't major on the food just the emotional attitude towards it and ourselves of course. It's the Why,When and How of eating I. It's actually how we should ALL eat, including children.

I like to buy clothes because I love them, not because they hide bits of me. #shallow

^

I'll join the shallow club with screamz. Dressing is easy because I don't have to worry about my wobbly bits, do I look fat in this etc. More energy for other stuff.

Also :

Health benefits
Need to stay healthy for the kids
People treat me with so much more respect when I'm slim
I look 10 years younger
Skin looks better
It's cheaper, because I buy less food, veg and lentils etc are cheaper than junk
Get sick less, fewer colds etc
Body works better, joints don't hurt, bowel movements better etc.

Thanks Ppeatfruit. It sounds interesting. I need a different approach.

I think my lack of motivation is that I don't want losing weight to take over my brain and my life like it did before.

Vanity. Started with vanity. Now I’ve discovered weight / strength training and I’m massively enjoying seeing how I can sculpt my body and look feeling so strong and empowered!

I lost 4 stones a few years ago and bought beautiful clothes when I weighed between 9 1/2 and 10 stones. I'm now 11 stones again and my leggings look horrible but my jeans won't fit. I've lost 4lbs this week with Slimming World, I'm actually 10 stones 13lbs this morning, I was 11st 4lbs a week ago and I am feeling much better. Just start, you'll quickly see a change. I once was told that you don't have to start out perfect, you just have to start. Hope that helps a bit, it's always helped me. Also, planning all of your food for one day and sticking to it really helps, make sure you plan a healthy and filling snack for bedtime works for me too. You can do this! Good luck 🙂
