Is anyone else doing this? I'm currently day two of 18:6 / 16:8!

16 hours and 42 mins yesterday and 3 hours and 46 mins into my 18:6 today!

I am and I love it! Only done for about a week. I’ve done 5:2 in the past and loved it too. When I started my window was 10-6 but no it’s more like 11-4

dottyp0104 · 02/01/2019 19:22

How does this work?

dottyp0104 · 02/01/2019 19:22

If you dont mind me asking

mfpsamzy133 · 02/01/2019 19:27

@dottyp0104 You only eat in an 8 hour window and fast for the remaining 16.

I generally eat between 7am and 1pm

I've had great results with this - and after a couple of weeks didn't feel hungry in the mornings. Due to work I do 2pm - 8pm, just drink lots of water in the morning to keep me going!

RaskolnikovsGarret · 02/01/2019 19:31

Started today. Doing 11 to 7. I think it will be tricky at work, as I get there at 6.30, and will find it hard going to last until 11, as I usually have breakfast there at 7.30. Maybe I’ll do 9 to 5 instead.

dottyp0104 · 02/01/2019 19:51

Sounds like a plan!! Can you drink diet juice while doing it

mfpsamzy133 · 02/01/2019 21:19

I love breakfast and lunch the most so I fast in the evenings. I don't think you can have juice when in the fast period because it contains calories

I’ve been unknowingly doing this for years! It’s great isn’t it?

mfpsamzy133 · 03/01/2019 08:29

Did 18 hours 23 just now and didn't even really noticed!

I find working out before eating is also really beneficial.

Stepped on the scales this morning after Christmas and it's not great so I'm hoping all this pays off soon!
