We have a microwave at work so I can heat things up - I’m not a huge soup fan though!

I always find lunches the hardest thing to sort out when I’m trying to lose weight. I want to try and avoid getting stuck in a rut of the same thing every lunchtime and I want to find some good filling ideas so I don’t feel the need to scoff everything I can get my hands on when I get home from work Blush Grin.

Can anyone help!

Thanks Flowers

Hi,

I'm in the same situation....but I've just prepared chicken, rice, 2 hard boiled eggs and salad for tomorrow's lunch. I'll also take in a pot of Onken low fat yogurt, raspberries and a meringue for pudding.
I used to take in soup daily but after a few weeks I just can't eat it anymore Confused
I'm trying again to lose weight and get fit so once I'm home tomorrow night I'll blitz a protein shake with fresh fruit and just prey I don't keep snacking on the kids snacks

We had jacket potatoes for dinner and I also cooked the rest of the bag. Will freeze then microwave for lunch with beans / leftovers etc nicer than just 10mins microwaved from raw. Also like the pouches of lentils with flavourings but they are relatively expensive....

I hadn’t thought about jackets - problem is I’d want it with butter and cheese Grin. I didn’t know you could pre-cook them though, will try that.

Dee03 - have you put anything on to flavour your chicken/eggs?

This will sound boring but I sometimes take a portion of cereal and some skimmed milk. I find that filling. I also make ham and pea tarts (a bit like a quiche) from the Hairy Dieters cookbook in bulk, freeze them then if I take one out the freezer they are ready to eat for lunch. They use a pitta bread dough instead of pastry. Another quickie is a bagel thin that I toast with butter and marmite. I always have a portion of fruit then a chocolate covered rice cake bar from aldi. I lost 3 stones in 4 months without feeling hungry, luckily I don't mind repetition!

I'm going to take in a pizza express light dressing...I just can't eat salad stuff without a dressing of some sort.

I've got some weight watchers ready meals in the freezer too just to change it up during the week.

I'll be having granola for breakfast
