Scared to go to weigh in this AM!

So I haven't been for two weeks because we've been busy on the weekends.

I've tried to stay to plan but I know there's no way I've lost overall. I had wine and chocolate on Thursday and last night so I'm feeling a tad hungover and sorry for myself this morning- I don't want to go to weigh in but I know that I should!!!

I have a horrible history of yo yo dieting- losing half a stone then relaxing and putting it on again- I'm fairly sure I've done it again and I can't face those scales!!! Help!

I'm sure we've all had that death at some point.

Go to weigh in, I bet it's no where near as bad as you think if you've only been off plan 2 days. If you have gained then at least you know and you can draw a line and move on. If you don't go, you'll convince yourself that you HAVE gained so you might as well stop trying.

That's true! I just don't want the shame!!! Although my coach is lovely, I just feel like I've let everyone, and myself, down! Plus the fear that I've gained a zillion pounds is quite off putting.

Woo hoo I did gain a pound but after all I consumed over three weeks that is FINE.

Back on plan now!

Well done, keep at it.. its very difficult I knowEnvy, you have your goal in sight and know what its going to take.
One thing, You are going to slip upCake, yes we all do! best thing I can say is do not beat yourself up when it happens, just acknowledge the fact and buckle down to your goals again. you will get there.

Well done!! I find loosing it and then also keeping it off can be just as hard so don't beat yourself up about the odd pound here and there, you have to live your life (5 stone loss in total, kept off for 18 years, have a stone that comes and goes and I don't stress too much about it I just get back on it when I feel my clothes getting tight!)

Well done OP. I just wanted to say keep up the good work and wanted to encourage you to keep going even if you think you've done badly.

I'm not dieting but fairly recently gave birth and have been breastfeeding, which in the past made me gain weight. I've recently been eating rubbish and too much of it. I've been feeling like a whale and do weighed myself and found I'd lost 5 lb! The loss has motivated me to eat better things. In turn, had I gained it would have motivated me to eat better things. I do think half the point of these meetings is to put the fear of God into you and keep you motivated.

Thank you! I celebrated by going out and having a salad and two glasses of wine yesterday! Need to stick to plan for the rest of the week I think- it's so easy at this time of year to be tempted by easy to eat food- but I will persevere! Want to bank myself a couple of pounds "cushion" for Christmas!

"cushion" a perfectly sensible thing to do, keep going girl, its the hardest time of the year, and yes you will be tempted, but you know now it just takes that willpower to shift off those unwanted pounds we "inhaleGrin" at this time of year.
I have just had a wonderful Christmas meal with friends, and all thoughts of diet went out the window, now is the time to enjoy your friends and your life, we are only here once, enjoy the special times and work ourselves harder in between times ..

I started cutting back on the 11th of November and I lost one stone! I weighed myself Christmas morning and I was over the moon to have reached my goal. I now have one more stone to lose and I hope to do so by the end of February, or earlier if possible 🤞🤞🤞

@Carastarchild that's my goal too! Got weigh tomorrow- not feeling good as I've been hugely off plan and then some alllllll week! My home scales say I've gained 3lb which is okay. I can probably get back on track in two weeks I'm hoping!

Well done!

Whereabouts are you that there's a Sunday class? There are none near me.

In the south of the UK. I think it just depends on when the coaches are available to set up groups.

Only gained 1.5lbs over Christmas! I think the dodgy tummy I had overnight may have helped a bit so I'm not banking on that being the true amount though!

wine I stayed the same weight thankfully, but 1.5lbs is very little to put on over Christmas! So much temptation everywhere! I am hoping to lose 1.5-2 lbs per week 🤞🤞🤞I bought myself a sports bra in M&S yesterday, so I am ready to start walking more frequently. I hate the gym! I do enjoy a walk in the evening after work.
